    Something similar happened to a friend of mine, he and his wife were in bed and thought it was an earthquake, turns out is was a drunk that hit their house.

    I'm at 76 was driving with the windows down all day, felt good.

    We had a good Thanksgiving storm in the 70s, though I don't remember the year. They cancelled the Thanksgiving day high school football game and played the next week. It was warmer but there was still snow on the sidelines.

    I usually go through almost 4 cords of wood, a ton of pellets seem to equal to a cord of wood.

    I just want it to flip after Thanksgiving and have a good December for once. Right now, I'm enjoying the mild weather.

    I can wait until December for the exciting weather, I'm enjoying this warm dry weather we've had, hope the switch flips right after Thanksgiving.

    I remember an unseasonably warm Halloween when I was 10-11 years old, took my little sister's trick or treating, went to a neighbor's house and he decided to pour a concrete stair due to the warm weather, dummy didn't rope it off and I stepped in the newly poured concrete, wrecked my newer pair of PF Flyers. Dumb ass.

    If it snows that wouldn't bother me, it's the dark early and warm weather I don't like.

    I remember back in High School we had a teacher from Canada that said it was dark by 3:30 in winter, he was up by Quebec City.

    Or you could live in the arctic in summer and southern south America in winter. Or the equator would be much better.

    That was a freak winter, probably won't be that bad. You should have moved up here prior to 2011 and you would have been buried a couple of winters.

    We had a place just like that in Woodstock, CT when I was a kid growing up, learned to ski there. Only had the rope tow and it would take a minute to get to the bottom of the hill and then ski over to the rope tow. The rope tow seemed tough for some people to use, people used to fall on the way up and fall on their face when they first grabbed the rope, fun times, I think the name was Ohoho, wonder of PF was old enough to remember it.

    haha, it is but my sisters been there 20 years and almost always gets more than me. I like that I'm closer to the mountains and beaches. Just met the builder today and had preliminary plans drawn up.
