Is it illegal to put a wood stove in a garage?
Most towns it is, unless its a "workshop", can't have a wood burner where's there's flammables but depends on the local inspector too.

As a kid, we used to spend our Thanksgivings in Woodstock CT, we would walk literally to the MA border, just outside of Southbridge.
I remember playing hockey at least once on the pond/lake there...though you wouldn't have skated to the middle where the ice looked much thinner. More often would be ice on the immediate shore and throwing rocks to break the skim ice.
I didn't realize you were as old as my 95 yo uncle

Hit 40F today for the first time in 12 days.
In November. Almost a two week stretch sub-40 degrees in November!
Last 15 days have all been below normal, significantly for the most part... -11.9F departure for the past 15 days.
Certainly a month to remember.
My uncle used to tell me they played pond hockey on Thanksgiving in Rhode Island when he was a kid. I thought he was FOS but after the last two weeks maybe he did.

I keep my wood stove going 24/7, I do work from home so it's easier for me.

That may be because of sweat? You need breathable, An Goretex all is that, But truly, Gloves are not a very good option for deep cold, When I ride I have hand guards and heated handle bars, But if it’s below zero, I slap on a pair of gauntlets.
You guys jousting?

I will be driving by the Northampton shop in about 20 minutes, can't wait to see the line. I guarantee it will all be out of state plates since if you actually live around here pot is basically free.
They were on the news this morning, line since midnight, they were getting sleet at the time of the broadcast.

Just light rain here, got down to 33 and has been stuck there. I actually wanted the snow to melt some, I have two cords of wood that needs to be stacked.

It's scary how the weather knows where the Pike is sometimes. I mean even one foot south and it's nada. It doesn't matter if you're at 200' or 990'. Just rain on snow.
It also knows where 495 is, they used to always say, snow north of the pike and west of 495.

We do but they still get on. In RI NexGuard worked but in Amherst we found them everywhere in the house and on us. They would ride him in the house then come off. The old behind the neck Frontline is about all that work. We don't find them on him or in the house but we will see them crawling on him when they first get on.
I've been using the seresto collar on my dog the last two years and shes had zero ticks, worth the $60.
