Yes... Taunton has its own power plant, TMLP.

I may pursue it a bit further, especially if the 5 year note would Be cheaper than my electric bill, and then after the 5 years, it’s basically free power.

I guess my issue would be is the installation cost and all the other ancillary stuff that I don’t think is included in that quote.

I think that's all included, I've been to quite a few houses since they came out and that's about what they all tell me they cost give a take a few thousand. I'm looking into too, even if you broke even on your electric bill for 5 years you still get free power after 5 years and a lot of people tell me they get money back.

What’s the power wall? Battery? I may look into the panels and power walls.

That's a Tesla home battery, with some of those you don't need a generator, also if its cloudy and you don't produce much solar gain you can have the excess stored from the more sunny days.

Own.  We bought them straight up when they were installed.  Not a huge system...18 panels , 4.5 KW.   More than paid for themselves already and  well worth the investment.

Plus, I just bought a new EV car (Chevy Bolt), so I try only to plug it in on sunny days  to charge it for free.  Win win!

I've come to the conclusion that's the way to go, not many people knew but Fannie Mae was giving out 5 year 0% loans to install solar.

We had had some work done at Pit2 last summer in which they laid down some sod.  Is there any reason I should not put down any fertilizer on that?  Any other recommendations for its first spring?

Not sure how thick it is but I would fertilize, little trick I learned is between doing step 1 and step 2 is to put down a thin coat of starter fertilizer to keep it green.

NH F&G posted this....31lb Lake Trout out of the First CT Lake in Pittsburg. I think this would have been a state record, if not for a 38lber out of Big Diamond pond last winter.

    Several good meals there.

What a month for those of us with solar on their houses. I've had solar on my roof for 7 years and I already broke my record for March production last week and there's still 5 days left. I just checked and this March has also given me more production than any April as well. Good stuff

You own or lease? I'm looking into now.

I'll have 10 pawpaw trees after I add 6 this summer. I have 2 large pear trees (good large fruit), a common apple (fruit sucks), a crab apple (good but tart), a peach (dying and cutting it this year), and 2 tart cherries already. I've started a good dozen american chestnut trees as well. I planted 4 seedless concord grapevines a few years ago and got a ton of fruit last year, but they all have seed remnants. So I turned to Double A Vineyards in NY for higher quality vines that are truly seedless. I'll plant those bare root in April.

I want to use my land. I don't want it to use me.

I planted a peach, pear and apple 4 years ago, been getting a ton of peaches, some pears and no apples, didn't realize I needed  mate for the apple so I got a delicious tree, supposed to be good for mating and got a few apples finally last year. Next I  want to plant a cherry tree, they do well here, just have to pick them before the birds get them.

77 in the sun. 72 in the shade. Awesome day, power washed the house with new 3500 psi electric power washer.  Absolutely love it. So light, no gas, no pulling cords. Too bad spring ends so soon.

We bought one last year, money well spent.

I have always worked out at home. I have enough equipment myself. Was just making an observation.

Me and my brother have built up a good gym over the years in his basement, weights, dumbbells, leg machine and a lat machine. We work out when we want and have a TV down there and watch the Sox or Bruins while we work out. Also have a treadmill.

Too many fishers and coyotes around our place to allow cats to go outside - we've lost several in coming to that conclusion.  Have not tried the permethrin-nest method here, mainly because we're in the middle of the woods and would need lots to have any effect at all.  So far the grandkids haven't brought any in though dog and I have.  (Ticks contrast well with a yellow Lab, especially one treated with a systemic anti-tick med, so the little horrors seem unwilling to burrow into the fur.)

Seresto is the best collar I ever got, in the last three years my dog has had two ticks and they were dead when I took them off. For $60 it's well worth it. Before Seresto I'd pull 10-20 off her a year and that was using the drops. My last two dogs got lyme even using a topical.

Or cotton batting (drier lint a good substitute) with considerable permethrin worked into it, then stuffed into tubes, like TP, or paper towel centers cut in 3rds.  Placed around the lawn (perhaps under small boards to keep the rain off) in the shrubs/woods (some kind of cover) the batting is loved by small rodent tick vectors.  Then the permethrin clears the critters of ticks right at home.  I'm sure the recipe can be found online - I'm going by memory.  One caveat: the recommendation is one "bait" every 10 feet around the area to be protected, so might be impractical for big lawns/yards.  Also it would be worth checking in the weeks after placement to see if there's been rodent buy-in.

I know a few people that put them in their wood pile and say it works well. A good cat helps too.

Along with the guy who sold his flatulence for $85, I consider NFTs an excellent indication that we're nearing peak-bubble.

I bet I could get double that for my flatulence.

My tree was in a large mulch bed out front. Has a large gold hinoki Cyprus and some boxwoods too. I may put in a dogwood. Something that will bloom for awhile. The plum only bloomed for about a week. I have some CAST outdoor lighting with 2 bullets that uplit the tree, so I want to replace it. That plum has been in 12 years, the black knot ate it up.

I put in a dogwood 3 years ago, ,rule of thumb is first year it sleeps, second year it creeps third year it leaps and has held true.

Spring has sprung here. Bulbs popping all over the place. Hosta coming up.

having my house and deck power washed tomorrow. Weather permitting, we stain Easter weekend

We will too soon, wish I had a composite deck. We did buy a power washer so we save there.

I put in some new KBG sod last September. Did real well. It’s actually still decently green.
I had to cut down my 20 foot ornamental plum tree in my front yard back in late January. It was covered in black knot. Arborist is coming back next month to grind out the stump. Not sure what I’m going to replace it with.

I had a stump grinded last fall, was thinking of putting sod over the area, last time I did in another area it came in nice.

We played " Wall ball" in Baltimore city.  Spray painted a box on the brick of the school building and used a rubber ball. We played from 8am till dark 7 days a week in the summer.  Unless it snowed ...then it was football or king of the hill lol

we did that, used a super pinky and one of those skinny yellow bats and we would wrap in electrical tape so it was stiffer and lasted longer.

This , given the nature of the beast, escrow withholding  will always lag tax changes.

My wife takes care of our mortgage but I remember her complaining now and then about that.
