It was $14.98 for a 43lb bag that covers 2500 sq/ft. I'm only doing a 5000 sq/ft fenced in area for my puppy so only needed 2 bags. I didn't want to use any harsh fertilizer in his area. A big lawn would be pretty expensive.

I guess its basically the same product as milorganite. It’s composed of heat-dried microbes that have digested the organic matter in wastewater treatment plants.

The stuff I want is $28 and covers 4000 sf so same price, I need 4 bags but they say you only have to fertilize twice a year with this product.

yes, I am.  but I would argue that a flexible work environment and being able to WFH is what enables me to be a high performer.  the office is a terrible place for getting actual work done, man.

my guess is you're an older gen-Xer or a boomer.  they perceive people who WFH as anti-social or lazy.  i'm fully aware that, in a hybrid environment, people are going  to discriminate in favor of people who they see in the office more.  that's not going to change until these older generations retire from management.  thats why i encourage people to periodically go into the office, because they have to manage perceptions and optics.  they have to manage their manager, basically.

I haven't been into an office since 2005, I miss mingling with my coworkers and going out for a bite and a beer but I get much more done WFH. I'm in contact with the people I work with almost daily and we'll still go out and meet for lunch periodically.

Seems those who had the Vid before get the most symptoms.  I had both shots and didn't feel a thing.

I've been hearing that too but don't have a scientific survey to confirm. I haven't had it so my shot so should be a piece of cake.

Fav local players: Ortiz, Martinez, Bird, Brady

    Honorable Mention: Bergeron, Pierce

I agree with that 100%, if we're talking this generation. All time its Orr, Bird, Pedro, Brady.

My tiebreak guess was -12 I think, but given where Rosy is at I have to imagine that's where the leader probably sits tomorrow afternoon. I can't imagine an even par final round Sunday.

    I had -18 after yesterday I didn't there was a chance.

I’ll have a few too but my best lineup so far is:

JT, Leishman, Morikawa, Champ, Weisberger.....and....effing Cantlay. FML.

I only have three guys who made the cut, I have Spieth and he's near the top but even if he wins I dont have enough.

I can't relate. I've loved my Odyssey ever since I was in high school (I had to replace it once when it was stolen out of my car trunk).

If I ever snap a club it's going to be a wedge.

I remember on a par 3 sliced my tee shot into the tall grass, while i was in there looking for my ball I found a fairly new putter.

My sister in law and friend who had covid last year had pretty severe reactions to the Moderna vaccine. My sister in law said she has sores in her mouth and a skin rash and flu like symptoms. She said she might not take the second dose. It probably doesn't make sense for someone that had covid to get it. I'm thinking the vaccine messes with their natural antibodies. Both had mild cases of covid originally and said the vaccine was worse than actual covid.

Haven't we've been hearing that people that have had covid have had problems with the vaccine?

i think that the powers that be didn't like DJ's -20 in the fall and were going to make the course firm and fast regardless.

Greens are slick, I saw one guy putting for an eagle from about 30 feet, he just tapped the ball and it zoomed past the hole, off the green into the water. He ended up going from putting for eagle to a bogey.

Several of my employees have stated they want to return because they need a break from home/kids/spouse.

I get that. Being home all day every day while trying to work 40+ hours a week is not for everyone. It can be especially hard if your house is small and you have many noisy kids.

My wife wants to go back just a couple days so she can hang out with her friends from work, they go out for lunch and dinner a lot so she kind of misses that. I wouldn't mind having the house to myself a couple days a week either. I've been home full time since 2006.

Wouldn’t you think we would see a lot of similar problems with hockey players, and not just limited to football?

Football players are always banging heads, hockey players take mostly body shots, but I don't think they're immune, look what happened to Mark Savard, had to quit at a young age from so many concussions.

I doubt most places will return to offices in the summer-maybe post Labor Day...not b/c of Covid, but b/c it's summer....if that holds its 18 months out of the office-imagine predicting that on March 1, 2020?   Also the length of time has gotten people used to working remotely-hard to tell people they have to come back 5 days per week after that length of time....

My wife's more productive working from home and so are her coworkers, the company is just going to have them on site two days a week starting in June and they may stay at that permanently.

Or more.  I think Pop Warner league starts before age 10.  However, most publicized CTE cases are longer-term NFL players (which are more likely to be publicized because of career length/stardom.)
Edit:  Pop Warner league has many divisions, which start at age 5!  Some systems go by weight and the "Mini-mite" division is ages 5-6-7 and check-in weights 35(!!!) to 75 lb, up to 84 by end of season.  Makes me glad my organized football career was just 3 years in HS and 2 at Hopkins.

After Aaron Hernandez hung himself they studied his brain and he has CTE, I think they said it was pretty advanced and he was only 27.

33 is not young.   It’s likely that he’s been in the sport since childhood.   Mothers, don’t let your children grow up to be football players....

Yeah, he's probably been butting heads for 20 years, that's a long time and easily could be CTE.

What a sick  story this morning of Former NFl player Phillip Adams. Executing  two children (among the 5 dead /including himself) > I would never comprehend the mental anguish a man goes thru that decided to put a bullet in his own brain. in addition he killed his Dr. and Dr.'s Wife .... but to execute two children is ...

    CTE probably

Hmm, to win is a little different than fitting 6 guys into a salaried system where they all add up points.

I typically like guys who perform well at Augusta in their careers to finish high up the leaderboard. So guys like DJ, JT, Rahm, Speith (but given that he won last week I'm actually more suspect about his chances this week). Cantlay always seems to be lurking around the top 10 too.

If you don't have the winner though you're not going to win, so many guys play that no matter what dark horse surprises everyone and wins, someone picked him. I think I'll throw DJ in too.

  17. What 5 guys would you pick to win? I have to fill out my card tonight and looking for some help. I have Rory and Koepka so far, need 3 more. I like Finau too. There was one year where you took Ricky Fowler every time as it seemed he was in the running every week. Even if he didn't win he gave you some points.

Well almost 29-hours since the first shot...very minor side effects really. Arm got sore through the day yesterday and became quite sore during the evening and overnight but the soreness has really gone down since this morning. I did get this crazy brief spell of fatigue yesterday afternoon like around 3:30...laid down for about 30 minutes and was fine after that. Felt a little nauseous at times (especially earlier in the morning) but not bad!

I am anticipating some harsher side effects from the second shot. Has anyone here gotten the second dose of Pfizier yet? If so, did you experience symptoms? From the several I know the signals have been very mixed. I don't care about the side effects, just planning ahead for work purposes as to whether I should take a day off or just plan to work from home.

I'm planning on working from home for my second shot but haven't got the first yet so I may adjust my thinking.
