  1. Yup. Those underground nests can grow to thousands of YJ. See if you can get the nest at dusk or dawn when the majority of them are in the nest.
  2. Looks like a Bayberry or Laurel type shrub. Do you have pictures of any blooms or berries on it?
  3. Azalea that I have is not a fan of full sun. Likes it sunny in AM and shady in PM
  4. I typically get a bunch of these every year. They vary ins size from dime sized to half dollar size.
  5. Yay.... https://www.tauntongazette.com/news/20190717/eee-positive-mosquito-found-in-new-bedford
  6. That helps. It's called Smartweed. As the name says, it's a weed. http://www.bio.brandeis.edu/fieldbio/Survival/Pages/smartweed.html
  7. The 2nd picture is definitely Petunias. Probably had some seeds drop there and they grew. The 1st picture is stumping me.
  8. Well your response would say this is incorrect.
  9. Want to say it's a variety of Pink Lavender.
  10. Wracking my brain. Is it a ground cover? Or is it more ornamental?
  11. Could just be a KBG or Fine Fescue that's gone dormant for the Summer.
  12. Agreed. Markings don’t look like Longhorn beetle
  13. Looks like a really nice place. They only had a few offerings in the cans (4), so I was a little bummed out by that. I was shocked by the affordability. I'm used to paying $18-20+ at Trillium.

  16. Came across a bear once in my life, in the confines of a car. Was on the mountain road just past the base lodge of Shawnee. The thing saw us and bolted up the mountain.
  17. I was on my way to Bridgton, so I’ll have to keep these other places in mind. I’ve had Foundation and Lone Pine before. There is not a lack of breweries in MA, I just think the state is just a bit more affluent, so that is reflected in the higher prices.
  18. Finally got my hands on some BB @OceanStWx @Damage In Tolland. Good stuff. I was shocked how cheap it was relative to stuff around me. $13 for a 4 pack is unreal. I’m used to $18-20+. I also had a micro from fryeburg that was awesome.
  19. Lawn doing much better than last given how relatively wet it's been as compared to last. I think I've cut the grass 1/2 dozen times now which I don't think I had done till September last year. Bit more weeds this year as well as I was unable to get a Fall cleanup. Hopefully I can keep up with the weed control better this year as we move into Fall. I have a bunch of Fall germinating weeds that are a pain to deal with. With this upcoming warmer stretch, I may be able to go 2-3 weeks without a mow. One other thing I haven't been able to do is edge my beds and clean them up, so I am left with a 1/2 manicured yard. Kinda blows, but it'll have to do.
  20. Upon closer inspection, this is what was found.
  21. I can't recall there being berries, since this is the 1st time I've seen it where I removed it. The leaves looked very similar to my Pear Tree so I though it was that and when I went to remove it, I was pricked by one of the thorns.
  22. My neighbor has red thread and he fertilizes the crap out of his lawn. So it's not for a lack of nitrogen.
