  1. If the soil is good, then it's likely a factor of shallow root growth on the new grass and lack of watering.
  2. Good god, glad I don't live there. No way could i cope with that much snow in September.
  3. September neggy departure all but eliminated. Down to a palty -0.2F now after being -2.6F only 7-8 days ago. That's how you flip the switch to a TORCH!
  4. Wow is probably messing with ad shit. People have been having issues over the last several months with usability of the site. Slow, jumpy page loads
  5. Yeah, I'm fine with 60s and 70s from now till mid November.
  6. If that 25% number is in the ballpark, that means ~675 students vape at Taunton HS. Student population (grades 8-12) is ~2,700 students.
  7. Guess I'm old. No one I was around in MS smoked and even in HS there was only a small group who did, not the ~25% number being thrown out there now as the % of HS who do it now.
  8. How the hell is 12-14 year old getting there hands on these products?
  9. It's flat out gross. Plumes of vape "smoke" that shroud you to the point of not being able to see a persons face. Yeah, that's "cool".
  10. For 4 months so they can ascertain the extent of the problem and come up with potential solutions, yes. And the kids aren't just smoking flavored nicotine, they're smoking the THC/Nicotine vapes in the schools as well.
  11. Yep. My daughter says it's nuts at Taunton HS. The smell is everywhere and they set off the smoke alarms a couple times a week she says. Very disruptive.
  12. No shit it's the black market crap causing this but this is not specifically about that. The usage of all vape products, in general, by underage teens, is the overarching issue and the companies are clearly targeting the youth with the way they are marketing them. I understand can never eliminate a "black market" for anything but if you can administer/regulate the legal side better to make accessibility to teens almost impossible, I'm all for it. Just look at how they rolled out legal sales of Cannabis in MA. Perhaps they need to do this with vape products as well. This industry has gotten ahead of the current laws.
  13. Some need to get a grip. It’s a 4mo ban while the State tries to figure out answers/solutions to what’s becoming an epidemic amongst a segment of the population that should be allowed under current law to have. How do we stop kids from getting access to these products? Parents and retailers aren’t helping.
  14. There in lies the problem. The accessibility of it for teens. They should outright ban flavorings in these since it's clear these companies are targeting teens with the names of these flavors.
