Warmth over the next few days will prob take out our very minor snowpack here (probably 2” of slush left). Guess I’m watching Saturdays system but it’s not looking like anything huge.

Just finished snowblowing the driveway. 6.8" here after last nights storm.

Coming down here in Midland. Looks like the last couple hours of HI-RES models really cut down on totals.

Looking like only advisory level here in MI.

Looking ahead to next week - models keep going back and forth with two waves. Tuesday's seems to be fizzling out but Wednesday/Thursday could be a quick dumper.

Fire Up Chips! I initially started there for Meteorology but after one semester, it wasn't for me long-term. I ended up graduating with a degree in GIS tho which has a lot of overlap with the MET group.

At 2” here. 6-8” is the forecast. Gonna need some serious rates to finish this.

I saw 3PM….at least that’s when the WSW started. That was 5 hours ago. .

Barely a dusting here. Not even enough to cover the leftover leaves I didn’t pick up…. 6-8” here seems extremely unlikely unless we get some crazy 1”/hr rates late tonight. We are hours from the heavy bands from what I can see on the radar. I hope I’m wrong!

Still waiting for the snow to start flying here. I’ve lived in my house for almost 6 years now and this is looking to be our 2nd largest storm since I moved in.

Oh hey…this is where all my Great Lakes people are at? I’ve been over on WXSphere for the last few years but it’s mostly OV people! Looking forward to this one to start the season.
