  1. Looks like the back edge is moving through Knox Co now. .
  2. Not sure if it’ll make it here and not sure how much it is, but between Nashville and Louisville there’s quite a bit of echoes showing up on radar now .
  3. https://x.com/convchronicles/status/2017676414120825160?s=46&t=LVg8BRWCh1zZb6F_t95EVg .
  4. If someone can gif that gif and post it here that would be great .
  5. It looks to me that the snow bands are curving towards the SW for some reason. Is this wind shear or is there a high pressure wrapping the snow around it? I can’t get the gif to load so I tweeted the gif to link it here. https://x.com/powellvolz/status/2017677102644945245?s=46&t=LVg8BRWCh1zZb6F_t95EVg .
  6. Big wreck on 40 just east of 640 headed west. This wreck happened about the same time one of those streamers was on radar in E Knox Co i was talking about. .
  7. I’m just now checking in where I’ve been out for a while but man… looks like you scored pretty big. That looks like 6 to 8 inches at least on that table. .
  8. The “northwest flow” is almost north to south right now. This is really good for Knox County because it eliminates a lot of downsloping we get from the mountains in Morgan and Anderson County when the flow is more traditionally out of the northwest .
  9. NW flow has kicked in. It is absolutely puking in the snow at my house, potentially the biggest flakes and the heaviest I’ve seen so far and it’s not on radar. So I’m guessing this streamer coming down through East Knox County is really laying it down since it’s being picked up by the radar. .
  10. I just got called into work. Apparently we got water running out of the coolant tire back behind that school and I gotta go. .
  11. Can you get to Adrian Burnette school through your the first entrance of your subdivision? .
  12. 5.5” in Halls. Also a big wreck downtown on 40 at Hall of Fame .
  13. I was the same way but I can’t imagine Billy making that up. However he lives up on a mountain I believe. .

  15. That’s how it started here. It didn’t really even look like snow at first almost like the air was dusty. .
  16. Some of this is below the radar, especially as we go through the night when the DGZ lowers. .
  17. The snow has been pretty moderate to maybe even a little more than moderate at times but now the flake size is getting bigger .
  18. So my wife just had a Facebook reminder from January 30, 2010 when we got a pretty big snow. The Facebook post was….. “David waited all week for this snow and 30 minutes before it started, he started puking his guts out and has been in bed the rest of the night”. I’ll never forget that. We ended up with 6”-8” and I watched every flake fall laying on my bathroom floor. [emoji1787] .
