  1. NWS BOX TWITTER: [Plowable Snow] A plowable snowfall is likely for much of the region Mon night-Tue. The bulk of the snow should arrive after the Mon evening rush hour, but impact the Tue morning commute with some improvement by the afternoon. Anticipate a snowfall graphic later this afternoon.
  2. I weigh very little outside of the euro and gfs and their end, can't wait to see euro at 12z. If it came in snowy, brains will explode.
  3. 12z UKMET. There has been a very consistent signal for a snowfall max in western CT.
  4. The mid levels have trended in a much weaker direction over the past day or two.
  5. This run is a big relief for many. 12z gfs. If euro delivers in a bit, we're stillooking really good IMO
  6. Tip, do you have a lean in which way you would go for forecasting an overall snowfall swath across Sne right now? Gun to head?
  7. Press 6 to hear Jay's whining about whining, which might be worse than the actual whining
  8. NAM has been really bad the last two events for all of SNE. Just wanted to post a quick reminder about that. Still worthy of Tracking.
  9. Still looks like a lock for an advisory snowfall nearly region wide. I'm skeptical we only see that though. That's been a relatively recent development and trend in the models. Still leaning toward widespread plowable. I haven't seen enough consistently to believe anything less yet.
  10. If you're thinking about posting in the analysis thread: 1. Type and take a moment to think 2. Am I whining or does this provide value to the thread? 3. If I'm whining, hit delete and move on.
  11. For the love of God, we know how you're feeling about this winter lol.
  12. Tblizz and George both banned from starting storm threads IMO.
  13. Ahh yes, good start to the night. You will get burps here and there until proven otherwise. Odds are still on our side.
  14. We need to get back to daylight tomorrow morning on the models without any more steps back.
  15. If you would have never put out a forecast at that range for 15" of snow, I'd argue that outcome isn't considered very realistic yet. Maybe I'm approaching this the wrong way
  16. My gut says he gets it! Would be nice to get S CT peeps in on the action. Hell, bring NYC into the party.
  17. No one is stupid. I am saying it is stupid to be enthralled by a single euro run at that range. It was ultimately still in clown range. If that's the case, there shouldn't have been what seems to be a needlessly emotional investment over 100+ hours out. Those runs should have been taken with a grain of salt. Hard to be disappointed if that's the case IMO.
  18. I'll take my chances with this look. I like to see it moving south instead of further north. Encouraging actually.
