  1. Somehow we went from futility, and begging for snow, ... to disappointment, and worry about not seeing 20“. I wonder if this comes back to being generally spoiled over past years? But how easily we forget how good 6-12" would be, specifically after this horrid winter. Plowable snow odds have only increased in the past 24 hours, let's focus on that. I see a lot of use of words like worry.. Why worry? Seriously. Nothing is gonna change what's coming. Don't stress yourself out over something you have zero control over. Just saying-off soapbox.
  2. New people: find this guy's posts and form your analysis accordingly.
  3. Sad state of affairs here looking at that oes. I'm at one of my low points of the winter for sure. Also battling off that RSV garbage that ripped through my office. Cold from hell basically
  4. Getting some intermittent flakes mixed in with the freezing drizzle in Avon. A very small amount of flakes tho. 30F at home in Simsbury.
  5. 6-12" is a fair mental range to keep right now until we are led in another direction.
  6. Nailed it!! And it's all noise until it continues to do so over a couple of runs... We'll see what happens.
  7. Home wx station is hovering right around 32F, not sure what is happening there. Sounds like W Simsbury has a good glaze.
  8. Nah, I feel ya. I would just remind everyone we are still in a range where we will get noise, and 'chop' between different results. Basically building a range between potential outcomes. Still a little bit of lead time here where we will waffle back and forth.
  9. I think it will be helpful if we explain where we are coming from.
  10. You are overreacting a bit to individual model runs. We need to be looking for trends. It's just one run. If you see it again at noon, that's a trend toward a mundane solution. 6-10" is still a very good storm in this season. Right on the cusp of major.
  11. Steady rain and no icing from Simsbury to Rocky Hill. A billion plows on the highway lol.
  12. I weenied out a bit earlier and radar looks shredded, but I am very much enjoying the parachutes coming down rn.
  13. Not impressed with radar VS an hour ago. Far too messy. Looks pretty good north and east.
  14. Today could be the start of a magical relationship between us and frozen precipitation
