  1. Looks like about 8" here now. We ended up in a bit of subsidence after megs bands. Heavier stuff moving back in now.
  2. I had it about an hour and half ago. 4" an hour. Too cold and lazy for me to go out anymore at this point. Probably nearing 7" or 8"
  3. I really don't understand your skepticism lol multiple nws employees are reporting it
  4. 700mb center is making progress now. It's over Allentown PA and heading E NE. Should track over south of the pike and just around or just south of BOS according to modeling.
  5. Man, oh man. S VT and over to Keene NH are going to just get nuked. Along with the berks and of course Albany. It's just beautiful.
  6. 03z hrrr. NYC bust and extreme southern CT bust. Litchfield does well 12-18". Everywhere else in CT outside of extreme southern portions sees 6-12" In MA there is a snow hole over the very center portion of the state. 8-10" in that area. The berks see 12-18". The BOS metro sees 12-18". In NH/VT subby zone from ASH to PSM. 8-10" in that area. But most other Southern portions of those states pounded with 12-18" of deform with lollies to 24"
  7. I just got 4" in about an hour tonight. 6" is certainly doable
  8. I am measuring 6"...thats 4" in an hour or so.... Wow
  9. Locations in Binghamton NY are reporting 23"
  10. It's pure nudity out here right now. Here's a video from 15 minutes ago. Visibility has dropped even further.
  11. The qpf is catching up to what the 7h track would assume to do.... The track it takes is prime deform right up to brian/dendrite
  12. I just got 2" in 35 minutes. Around 4"
  13. Current conditions here are far out performing anything I ever expected from this storm. It's a complete white out and is snowing several inches an hour. Visibility is now below 100 yards here. And this is only the WCB meat. Really impressive stuff. Wind is only scheduled to pick up from this point onward and then we should see enhancement from the coastal front heading toward dawn. The latest hrrr runs buries Boston up to Ray and down into the northern south shore also out to Framingham with 1-2 feet.
  14. Ray, I'm keeping a close eye on what I see on modeling for your hood too. From what I see, despite being stuck in between bands for times, you will see at least a foot. Take it fwiw. It looks like areas from Albany to mitch in the berks to s VT and s NH may see localized 20" spots.
  15. Just opened up mesoanalysis to take a peek as to what is causing that dryslot down there. 700mb center is still over PA. Once it moves east things should approve for anyone dryslotted. But make no mistake, this will hamper some totals. Not sure what okx was thinking in some areas with wide-spread 10-18" south and along the mid level low. Asking for disaster.
  16. Warm Conveyor Belt. As opposed to CCB or cold conveyor belt.
  17. I think there's going to be some angry sourthern ct and NYC weenies though. That dry slot is troubling.
  18. Yeah. This is pretty insane. It's legitimate heavy heavy here right now. I would estimate over 2" type of snow with great snow growth. I'm already up to 2" as of 20 minutes ago. When the wind starts to kick up its going to be impressive in the overnight.
  19. He was out on a warm limb with little to no guidance to support a day or two ago
  20. James we all have mesonet, we all have obs, we all have radar, thanks. The minute by minute breakdown of the storms central pressure are a little much too
  21. I've been spending a ton of time staring at the mesos trtinr to figure this out. I think it's unfortunately going to be a real feature. The meatier totals nw with mid level banding seem to be coming to fruition. Then we have the second max near the eastern portions with oes and coastal front.
