  1. Slightly under 3” on the board and 2” on blacktop. 1” more than I thought I would get.
  2. Between the Euro and the Nam I think I will probably be lucky to get 2" . Been seeing it most of the winter. Starts 6 days out at 8" on the model runs and ends with 1-2". I' m ok with it though trying to get my mom moved out of her house. She closes Friday. This is your storm...ENJOY!
  3. BTW what is a plowable snowfall? Instead of giving a forecast in inches. A plowable snowfall seem to be a popular forecast.
  4. Somebody is going to get a decent hit. As per this season just a few pieces missing for a much bigger storm. I thought that this was modeled as a quick mover.
  5. The dog woke me up at 3:00 am and it was raining then. Got up this morning 7:00 and we had snow flurries and a dusting on the vehicles. NWS thoughts this morning. Wonder if today if we see a tick NW...figure we will see a little model wiggle today now that this system is gone. Euro just really hasn't had a great snow season this year. As far as that goes all the models have struggled a little.
  6. Almost think we need to get Thur/Fri out of the way and then see what Sunday/Monday is showing.
  7. Kind of a strange setup we got a dusting this morning and will another dusting overnight. And then tomorrow night you get snow from another separate wave but it combines with our first wave.
  8. Light snow here this morning...fine flakes. Laying on the roadway. We might get 1-2", this is more a northern tier storm.
  9. NWS recorded wind gusts. https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pid=201902251146-KCTP-NOUS41-PNSCTP
  10. 56 mph wind gust here so far according to NWS. Hope everyone keeps power.
  11. I would take one for the team and settle for 7" of snow. I'm curious where them models come up with that kind of moisture.
  12. Current ice totals from spotters. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&issuedby=CTP&product=PNS&format=CI&version=1&glossary=1&highlight=off Snow totals https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pid=201902202357-KCTP-NOUS41-PNSCTP
  13. That thing saves me a lot of time with snow removal. A decent snow it will blow snow 40'. Today's snow wasn't really worth firing up. Bubbler not sure how you do it I would at least need a walk behind snowblower. @NWSStateCollege 6PM Radar Update: Moderate to heavy freezing rain is moving into SW PA at this hour.
  14. I'm kind of locked in with what I got. But they look like they would be fun. Thanks! sometime I will have to try one. A blower is kind of handy for me, so I have a tractor.
  15. Why do they do this? Reset the expected snowfall maps? I just measured and have 1.5" Some snow totals. https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pid=201902201835-KCTP-NOUS41-PNSCTP Chambersburg got 10"
  16. That's what I have been dealing with all winter. Trying hit things before the change over. Good to see some ppl getting some good returns.
  17. No snow up here yet. Thinking it should be starting anytime.
