  2. Thanks for the write up Mag! Wasn't quite sure what to think with the models trending East yesterday. 11 degrees here this morning.
  3. Different offices right? Which makes it more confusing. It seems every office ends their maps at different times. Buffalo snow map ends at 1:00 am.
  4. State College map...not really close to matching Binghamtons map.
  5. Welcome to the forum. Couple other members from Wilpo on here.
  6. Myself I like seeing events where we all get snow or the southern tier can even have it. This last event I would have gave it to anybody. One of the hardest snow events I have had to clean up. And I got the equipment. what I do hate is 40 for a storm then the next morning below zero. Free Euro
  7. Currently the models are split as to where the main surface low will track. Seems to be the theme this winter. Thanks for Your thoughts Mag.
  8. NWS for the Wiliamsport next week: Tuesday Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet likely. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Chance of precipitation is 70%. We are having trouble getting out of this pattern.

  10. 35 degrees at 0600 this morning. It is still raining but the snow pack and ice seems to be hanging around. Anybody know how much rain we have got? My guess is a shitton . will get out and get a picture when it gets light out.
  11. This will turn most everything to a pool of water and then a freeze for the weekend.
  12. They seem to always want to do that. With 6" of frozen snow on the ground and inches of rain on the way. Next snow threats appears to be 1-28 and 2-5
  13. It's kind of frustrating here was the temp this morning and tomorrow rain.
  14. 9 people died in this creek flooding, some people just getting sweep away.
  15. Off Topic but worth posting. Twenty years ago, today (January 19, 1996), Susque's region experienced the worst flooding in the valley's recorded history. Following merely weeks after an incredible blizzard, the valley warmed up to 60 degrees and received an abundance of rain. The snow melted and Lycoming Creek rose to over 22 feet! In fact, it rose above any reliable gauges and scales, so the true crest is unknown. The "Green Bridge" met its demise that day, as well as the abutment of the old train bridge. Here are some pictures taken by those of us at Susque that day. It is certainly awe-inspiring to see the power of those rushing waters. It took only a few seconds between the bridge detaching and then disappearing underwater.
  16. Looks like rain or ice to rain for a lot of us. The storm at the end of the month looks that it could be BIG.
