  4. Snowblower was happy about the cold snow:) 5” at the house, 9F, never went above 15F yesterday. Hero powder skiing this morning, saw the sun waiting for patrol to finish their morning laps Curious what the hills pull out of the sky tonight .
  5. Back to the regular Jan program apparently Mountain absorbed the past week well, somehow skiing is the best of the season Did not expect that. Looks like a good week of winter ahead .
  6. Maybe 5”? Whatever it is, it is soaking wet and 34F Didn’t even bother the snowblower, round 4 of push shoveling cement for the season When this freezes it will be a bomber base .
  7. Woke up to 4”. 2” through the day, still snowing Pleasantly surprised Mountain did well. Stayed cold. We left Hanover last night it was 29F, driveway was 11F. NNE, small but big, many different worlds .
  8. Quite the morning, 5F in the shade to start. Happy Winter and safe holiday to everyone .

Woke up to 5”, another 3” through the daylight hours, still blowing around, 1” since I finished getting the mailbox reattached to the post 3rd Monday in a row of cleaning the blueberry bushes, the white birch are may need a break Wasn’t planning on skiing the steepest, rockiest trails at J today, but it happened, and it was delightful. Lower mountain water bars were the biggest hazard .
  10. First 0F this morning. Hands didn’t come out of the pockets for awhile this morning .
  11. 6” at the house, 12+ above 2500’. Down right dangerous walking in the woods today with the amount of snow shedding from the trees .

  15. Buttoning the house up today, took 6 chores just to get to the list No frost yet. No deer either. Moving quickly to stick season up here. A quick pic from last week’s ride. .

  17. I second that PF. It was a terrific morning for a walk. Birds were happy, hard to not feel thankful for this little corner of the planet .
  18. Had a nice view last night on our weekly evening ski at Burke. Easily the deepest snow pack they have had in years for their last week of operations .
  19. Out like a lamb & lion. Bluebird skiing in the morning, enjoying apres with snow showers .
