need to replace my mom's shelter logic 20x12x8 cover and stunned at the cost. We bought the whole thing with cover, poles, etc not even 3 yrs ago for <$500. Replacement cover depending on heavy dutiness is $800-1100! Obviously that's where they make their money, but jeez that's pricey. I think we'll just get a standard HD tarp for ~$200. Might not look as pretty, but should do the job.

per usual, one can always throw away at least 1 full month of winter between dec-mar, at least up here. i'm still hopeful, but won't be surprised if it's mild

96" last winter. would like to surpass 100", but honestly, I could live with a lot less if we had some good retention which seems hard to get anymore.
