    Slight chance of snow in our zones. Doesn’t get to 30% chance until you get to around Culpeper. Might be as close as we get here. First flakes maybe?

    I often wonder if the NE forum crew read our posts when they need a quick chuckle. Some of those folks will get more snow tonight than many of us will see all winter and it’s not even winter yet technically.

    Even if the GEFS looked great for Xmas week it would be folly to get excited...it looks crappy now but same applies. Need to at least let it play out a bit.

    Isn’t it odd to have the Euro and GFS so far apart so close to an event? I realize it’s how they are treating NS h5 but still just seems peculiar.

    Like you always say keep the faith. We’ll luck into something eventually. If it wasn’t for my job I would have moved a long time ago. But not much of what I do away from DC. So I wait.

    I can already imagine this hitting the EZF wall then collapsing south. But first flakes perhaps for many in the way south forum crew so that is cool.

    The fact that we have said “the Euro caved” more than once is like being on some alternate universe. I am quite optimistic about this winter.

    Right. I think it was in the 40s here. And a white Xmas but that was because we had so much snow on the ground. But it was slush fest by evening.

    For some reason it turns mild around Christmas. Even the epic 2009 24-25 was mild if I remember right with rain.

    I would think GFS should be in deadly range at this point. Even slight adjustments probably wouldn't help. we'll get the next one perhaps.
