  1. The end of the Euro is a storm that would've likely dropped 2-3+ feet of snow had the storm completed.
  2. It's 19-20 degrees while it's snowing. Woah.
  3. Is there any way out of this moisture issue? The last few GFS runs were showing decent QPF numbers around 1+".
  4. Yup, definitely a moisture issue. A 989 low producing very little precip.
  5. The Euro was a huge step towards the older GFS runs. It was a pleasure to PBP for y'all. Good night!
  6. 0z Euro not bad. I believe it's 1-3", maybe 2-4"? Edit: south of DC is jackzone, about 3-6" there. DC gets around 1-3", Baltimore C-1". Subject to change as this is based purely off temps and precipitation maps
  7. hell i'll even say 0z euro is better than the 0z GFS at h5
  8. 0z Euro h5 looks very similar to 0z GFS
  9. 0z Euro looks much better than 18z. At hour 99 the trough is SW and is deeper
  10. These models show incredible h5 looks but end up with nothing. What's new around the Mid-Atlantic?
  11. GFS looking better than 18z, which was already a good run
  12. Why are we comparing the GFS runs at hour 48. There won't be a difference really until hour 90ish
  13. The GFS is running. Hopefully Randy didn't forget about it and can stop by for PBP, but if not, TSSN's PBP was great last time 'round so I vote him if Randy is absent.
  14. 18z GFS vs 0z ICON, and to me the ICON looks better at h5. if the GFS can spit out 6-12" with that look then it would definitely spit out at least that with the ICON look
  15. last time we had a big storm possibility the GFS scored a coup against all the other models... including the stubborn Euro.
  16. who's ready for their 0.2" of rain based off this h5
  17. wtf is the ICON? it looks perfect, it tilts negative, and instead of BOOM it sucks...?
  18. ICON markedly better than 18z. Trough at 96hr is deeper and more SW. Let's see what it can do.
  19. 18z Euro's trough was deeper, more neutrally titled, and more compact compared to 12z. Might not show it on the surface but it's better than 12z.
