7/3/21 low was 58. I did have a low of 50 on 8/3/21 but no 40's.

The last time I saw 40's for a low was on 6/25, hoping that streak ends tomorrow night.

Correct, flow is south to north which many do not realize. I always guessed that was due to the dams in Montgomery and Walden but don't know that for sure. So while the crest happens today it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to drop overall. The gauge near ORMC was not there back then.

Here’s the Boat Launch on the Wallkill near my house. First is a little after 4pm yesterday and the second is a little before 8am this morning.

I might be just a tad too far west for that, fine by me. You guys further east certainly look to get into that though.

Up to 3.82, pouring but not as bad as NJ, there are a number of river gauges that just go straight up at a 90 degree angle, real bad down there

The 23z HRRR finally has me under 2” of accumulated precip, of course 3.60” has already fallen though. 5” looking achievable here.

For Floyd my boys were 6, 3, and 2...I wasn't keeping records then as every day was survival mode. For Lee I have 7.50" from Monday afternoon through Thursday of that week. On 10/8/05 I had 8.51" of rain, I think that there was a tropical connection to that but my records then didn't include some of the details that I add now.

Irene was 6.61" for me, sitting at 1.52" so far. What also helps my location is that the other side of the river is lower so much of the river goes that way when it spills its banks.

About 300 feet...but about 40 feet higher in elevation thankfully. Irene and Lee never came close to me, again, thankfully.

Agreed but I think many like it this way. This kinda relates to how people like their snowfalls, say you get 48" in a season, many will say give me 2 24" storms and call it a season. I'd prefer many more smaller events spread out over the winter.
