  1. At least we are done with silly snowmaps that never verify
  2. Yeah most of the eggs survive unless it's something really crazy. I'd expect another bumper crop of lantern flies.
  3. Used to be that way here-last March snowfall was 2019. 2018 had a huge March with 4-5 snowstorms but something switched after 2019 now it's warm and snowless
  4. Your areas is a bit different for March It's been full on spring here outside of a couple cold days 3/2-3/4
  5. Looks nice but I'm sure there will be a backdoor in there like this week
  6. North winds blowing today-50 will feel frigid after the last 2 days
  7. Water temps are near 40 so if it's a stiff east wind it's likely to be close
  8. The NAM may be too cold-but we are in for a rude awakening Thursday
  9. same here-felt like a winter morning and then 5 hrs later solid spring lol
  10. Same ol story-rainfall totals lighten up as we get closer to the event....last week was an exception
  11. make you realize how crazy the period from 2002-2018 was....40+ inches of snow many of the years
  12. Anything arctic is long gone cold wise...you'd need that for any snow this time of year...averages are in the low 50's.
  13. What little snow we had (18 inches here) stuck around with the cold. Still have some small disgusting snow piles left in parking lots here today.
  14. low 40's if we get a stiff wind off the water
  15. Easy to do in the spring with no leaves on trees and west winds. It's dry this year so add another 1-2 degrees on guidance
  16. yeah burbs probably have a risk of freeze into early April
  17. Gets shorter every year
  18. Was interesting driving around this AM-some of the lower spots were 30 while just a mile later when the road rose a bit it was 40
  19. No one wants an early sunset in the warm months
  20. No, but people are more likely to take advantage of that hour b/w 7:30-8:30pm in the summer vs 4-5am
  21. Classic March day-windy chilly and culumus fair weather clouds racing SE
  22. agree if we do one or the other I'd do perm DST. ...but we did that in 74-75 and it was quickly dumped due to the dark AM's. Some places would have 9:15am sunrises.
  23. Always the same complaints around when we do it but it goes away fast. Will be interesting to see if we go to permanent DST if we do get ready for some dark winter mornings with an 8:20am sunrise in NYC
