  1. A few pics with the drone today at our local ski resort.
  2. I was told nearly 2/3rds are registered democrats. Would be shocked if Trump wins this upcoming election.
  3. Constant thunder and lightning, power flashes every few minutes. Trees and transformers falling everywhere. The entire sky lit up for hours.
  4. Yeah I lived in Cheektowaga too, got destroyed. No power for 15 days. Couldn’t drive down my road for 4-5 days
  5. Happy anniversary to the storm that brought down/damaged 60-70% of all trees in Buffalo.
  6. Taylor Hall to Buffalo. In total shock right now as hockey is the sport I played my entire life. I love the Bills, but Sabres are my team!
  7. I don't know if it is cold enough for LES in lower elevations.
  8. If you're a cold weather fanatic you need to move to somewhere else or somewhere with high elevation. Alaska, Maine, Canada all give you what you're searching for.
  9. We're getting there. Another 6 months and this virus is toast. https://www.chicagotribune.com/coronavirus/ct-coronavirus-antibody-testing-chicago-rate-northwestern-20201009-jxzpyewzlrcgnny2fyflupqdcq-story.html
  10. Reinventions are obviously extremely rare at this point. If they were common we would know by now. If they are common the 2nd infection you’re assymptomatic.
  11. If a therapeutic let’s trump look the way he does today in his conference by all means give it to everyone. That’s more then a treatment, it’s a remedy.
  12. Why don’t we just give everyone who gets Covid the Trump cocktail? The dude is almost 75, overweight, with preexisting conditions and just beat Covid in 3 days? I haven’t heard the word ventilator by any medical professional in months. It seems to me the medical world was quite wrong about them and actually increased the death rate.
  13. Well most cold occurs early on in La Ninas. Nov/Dec are known for being cold in La Ninas with Jan-March being above average.
  14. First flakes next week. A long wave trough will dig into the Lower Mississippi Valley into the weekend and much colder air will filter across the Great Lakes region. Lake induced rain showers are possible through the weekend with daytime temperatures falling back into the 50s. Chilly overnight lows may result in some rain showers transitioning to a few flakes at higher elevations Saturday night.
  15. It's Oct 9th. Wait until we hit Jan/Feb. 100k+ cases a day? Everyone that gets the flu are going to think they have covid.
  16. Next 7 look like top notch fall days. Today Sunny, with a high near 67. Saturday Increasing clouds, with a high near 71. Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Columbus Day Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. Wednesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. Thursday Partly sunny, with a high near 66.
  17. -0.9 so far this month at KBUF, looks like they fixed the thermometer. Next week looks quite warm.
