  1. Yeah pretty strong CIPS analog for the next system. If only we can get the Euro on board.
  2. Well the 2 LES events this year produced feet of snow and severely impacted travel. The synoptic storms this year have all been lame. I get why they don't "hype" them up. They talk about them like they are. The next few weeks feature chances at real synoptic storms and will likely be talked about in more detail. It's a pretty good pattern for them, something we usually get in march but in february with colder air.
  3. 2" of snow at Rochester for event, and you wonder why KBUF wasn't hyping it up lol.
  4. We've had that here since Dec 25/26th LES event/storm combo but without snow falling just doesn't do it for me. Had one good LES event in between that one though which was decent. Definitely better than last year.
  5. I love it. We don't need hedge fund traders anymore and the rich controlling the market. Combined, the individual investors can actually disrupt the market. It's incredible. Have never seen anything like it.
  6. Snowfall totals. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  7. Same here just got a quote for remodeling my kitchen, so all my cash is all going towards that or I'd be putting some in as well. Fun times ahead in the trading world.
  8. Conditions on the roads are terrible here with temps in the upper 20s and freezing rain. Saw 2 pretty bad accidents on the roads in the last hour driving around doing errands.
  9. I posted about that in the general discussion thread. Wall street is short gamestop and WSB is all about it. I love it haha. Makes no sense at all. Gamestop should be a $2 stock as they won't be profitable for the foreseeable future but who cares in this stock market age where one tweet can pump a stock 50% in an hour.
  10. I was quite wrong. That high pressure got the big boot from a weakening low pressure system and went way farther NW then any model predicted once again, embrace the trend of the season.
  11. Quite a bit of ice here. Cars are caked and roads are terrible. Going to be a giant ice rink when temps get lower.
  12. Thanks. I've been trying to find this for awhile. I had it bookmarked on my last computer but haven't been able to find it on my new one. Have you used pivotal for their soundings? That is pretty useful too. Rochester for Friday LES event GFS GEM
  13. Should see some decent NW flow LES on Friday. Moisture is lacking a little bit but should be at least a few inches
  14. A official station in Elma recorded 92", i measured 88" here with a max depth of 52" and places Northeast of me had higher QPF between both events. Someone definitely got 100.
  15. Lots of moisture with this storm, too bad it gets slightly shredded could have been a biggy
  16. Too much uncertainty next week to give it much thought. Tomorrows system is 3-5", not much to talk about really. What do you want them to say?
  17. Well 3-6" of snow over 24 hours isn't going to really impact travel around here, that is run of the mill type stuff. Lake effect you can get 3-6" in one hour and severely impacts all travel. Pretty big difference IMO. They talk about it more because it has more of an impact. KBUF I don't think has ever shut down from a synoptic event, only lake effect.
  18. This is crazy Doctors finding lung damage in COVID-19 patients, even those without symptoms https://www.wwltv.com/article/news/health/doctors-finding-lung-damage-in-covid-19-patients-even-those-without-symptoms/289-0f899595-2a48-426f-9c3b-0262be0b9666
  19. I'm rooting hard for the chiefs, Packers got screwed by refs....again. Its like clockwork with Brady teams.
  20. Wallstreetbets reddit and Gamestop. Is that market manipulation? The markets are changing away from fundamentals, that's for sure.
  21. I might head out west to see that actually next month.
