  1. Really hoping this verifies, I'll be in south Florida basking in 90 degree temps
  2. Why are you using analog highs as a means of temperature verification? Temps include highs and lows. Buffalo was at +2.1 for Dec-Feb, not 0.2. As someone that works in finance, your way of interpreting data is extremely odd and inaccurate.
  3. Why Some of the Typically Snowiest Cities in the U.S. Are Feet Behind the Pace This Winter https://weather.com/storms/winter/news/2021-03-01-snowiest-cities-lacking-snow-this-winter?fbclid=IwAR0a50TR5U5kAk0QwRFpJ4bHdOgEKRPIb2o62mUEvF9w27l7l7tEd-luS4o
  4. Buffalo announced their first summer festival will be happening as normal in July. Probably still have to wear masks, but somewhat normalcy is returning this summer.
  5. So meteorological winter is now over. KBUF DEC: +3.4 JAN: +4.5 FEB: -1.6 Average winter temp: +2.1 Snowfall: 71.5" on the year. -7.3" for the date

  7. 50 degrees and sunny here today, did a 3 mile run felt amazing. I'm all aboard the spring train unless its a big LES event or synoptic storm. 12"+
  8. The data above suggest less then a handful of people in Erie county in hospital with virus by May.
  9. Their antibodies were not permanent, they lasted 11 months. However, the virus is no longer "novel" for their bodies. Their bodies know what to do the next time they get covid or a similar variant. They will likely still be able to get infected, but it won't be a severe illness, more likely a common cold. The vaccine is not permanent either, and will likely need booster shots in the future to keep the antibodies alive and well. It will likely be a yearly thing similar to the flu for the next few years.
  10. More on long term immunity, looks promising. • The immune systems of more than 95% of people who recovered from COVID-19 had durable memories of the virus up to eight months after infection. • The results provide hope that people receiving SARS-CoV-2 vaccines will develop similar lasting immune memories after vaccination. https://www.nih.gov/news-events/nih-research-matters/lasting-immunity-found-after-recovery-covid-19
  11. That was another big jump down. Test and cases likely slightly up due to the delay in reporting from Texas.
  12. Emergency authorization just granted for J&J vaccine https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/27/health/johnson-johnson-covid-19-vaccine-fda-eua/index.html

  14. I called the guy who installed my fence a liar under oath in front of the judge, and he was like you can't say that. I'm like I apologize. I definitely loss a few points there.
  15. Anyone else with any vaccine updates? My sister got her 2nd dose and was in bed for about 2 days, she feels fine now.
