  1. Yeah Brodeur is an all time great. You guys have had a great team back then with Stevens. How many cups did you win 3?
  2. Bills tailgates are the greatest thing on this planet. You haven't lived until you've been to one.
  3. I went to Chestnut ridge to play disc golf today and there was a ton of snow on the ground. Only 8 minutes from my place. Some places had over 15" on the ground. Full coverage there with temps in the upper 60s, crazy.
  4. Hit 70 here today, broke a really old record
  5. I went to funeral for my wifes great aunt on Sunday who was 98 years old. She died from complications from 2nd dose of vaccine in the nursing home. Shes a twin and her sister didn't get the vaccine and is doing just fine. She was completely healthy as well. Obviously covid probably would have killed her too if she contracted it.
  6. I just went to funeral on Sunday for my wifes great aunt who died from 2nd covid vaccine. However, she was 98 years old. Her twin is still alive and well, she didn't get the vaccine yet.
  7. Moderna is 94% effective vs UK variant https://www.cbc.ca/radio/whitecoat/how-the-vaccines-we-have-and-the-ones-coming-next-stack-up-against-covid-19-variants-1.5905708
  8. Contradictions everywhere. I just posted an article yesterday stating it was effective, now its not? *confused the South African with the Brazilian.
  9. Biden just announced a request for another 100 million J&J doses. My wifes best friend got that one. Her arm was very sore for 24 hours and had the worst headache she ever had for almost 2 days. Anyone else here that got vaccinated with any issues?
  10. The breakdown of the family unit in my opinion is the biggest issue our nation faces going forward.
  11. US vaccinations should hit 100 million by Friday/Saturday this week! https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccinations 123 million vaccines delivered Almost 94 million administered. It seems like the main problem is getting enough people to administer the vaccine.
  12. It's the absolute best. It feels like a new beginning. Covid dying down, warming temps, birds chirping.
  13. Cases went up this week due to a 50k case drop yesterday from Missouri from antigen testing.
  14. Enjoy! I'm at work until 430 then going disc golfing with some friends. Can't wait!
  15. Yeah he has had issues with other tenants in the past even without a pandemic paying rent. The law definitely favors the tenant vs the landlord. People think landlords have tons of money, but those with 1-2 properties are usually pretty thin on liquid capital as they have 2-3 mortgages to pay for.
  16. 51 2 days ago and 50 degrees yesterday here at KBUF. It's already in the upper 40s this morning. Should make it up to mid/upper 60s today.
  17. All the government spending didn't really help the small guy though. That's also my point. Check out this article. Billionaires got richer during COVID during anytime in our history. We need a completely new tax structure for the rich. Has anyones wealth here grown 50%+ during covid? I can say it hasn't for me. https://inequality.org/great-divide/updates-billionaire-pandemic/
  18. This was only the case after Dec 31st...There was no letter needed before that date. Last years rent is a complete loss. the eviction moratorium has been extended until May 31st. The tenants haven't written anything and they are still unable to get evicted. I grew up poorer than probably anyone on these forums and I am by no means rich at all. My parents both made min. wage and my dad worked 12 hour days for 30 years to get promoted in his company and get to where he is today. I grew up in the city where people hated working and stayed at home all day on the porch living off the system. I'm not a fan of that. To each their own.
