  2. After a year of lock downs I think we're at the tipping point. Bills are planning on having a full stadium for games in September. That is my definition of back to normal, so either ways its happening this year so not far out. If you look at the number of cases, hospitalizations, and those getting vaccinated we're really close. https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#hospitalizations Todays numbers Latest stats from theLawyerCraig (new covid tracking project) Tests: 1,323,141 Cases: 42,579 Deaths: 629 Currently Hospitalized: 39,367
  3. Hit 51 today. Calling for 63 and 61 on Weds and Thursday
  4. Is lost of taste and smell a thing experienced by those with minor symptoms as well as major? Do asymptomatic cases experience this as well? It seems like this is the symptom that almost all cases experience.
  5. At what point does this pandemic become an endemic? Is there a certain threshold?
  6. Yeah the central and southern states are all well above average. Everyone else that gets a real winter is below besides the west coast. Mt Rainer averages 650-700" a year so I think they are below normal as well. Check this out from last year over there. This is where @TugHillMatt needs to move. https://weather.com/news/news/2020-01-14-snow-depth-increases-nearly-100-inches-january-mount-rainier#:~:text=You can see how the, feet) of snow per season.
  7. The vaccines provide protection against the variants to a degree and decrease hospitalization immensely. Pfizer and Moderna are already in the process of developing boosters for the variants. Viruses often mutate to weaker forms to spread quicker and then die out. Covid will never just disappear. It's likely with us for the rest of our lives. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/05/how-the-different-covid-vaccines-will-handle-variants.html
  8. Tons of snow in the Dacks right now. Those signs are 7 feet tall.
  9. Well they are no longer updating data. So CDC is only metric to go by now?
  10. Numbers are lower than I thought covid tracking project has a week delay in hospitalizations. CDC has 33k today https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#hospitalizations
  11. It seems those numbers are high as well CDC numbers are more accurate as posted above. Hospitalizations are now at 33k https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#hospitalizations
  12. The entire country got quite a bit of snow this year.
  13. I like that above normal for Florida. I'll be there almost that entire time period.
  14. Does anyone know how long the antibodies last with the vaccine? I know natural infection antibodies last anywhere from a few months to a year. We likely will all be getting a booster sometime next year with the variants included?
  15. End of EPS and GEFS look like a brief arctic shot. I would say the 17-21 should be below normal with a chance of a snowstorm.
  16. Next Weds/thursday look very warm. Will be lots of 60s
