  1. The vaccine passport is a joke, and it could be the first step in this country never recovering to pre covid times. Unfortunate. 9/11 changed this country so much with the security measures put in place, covid is going to change this country even more. You're going to need a vaccine passport to go to bills/sabres games, to concerts, to travel. This world has gone insane, people die...we all will. Let us live with the short time we have on this amazing planet.
  2. What's going on over there? New variant?
  3. Yep, this virus preyed on the unhealthiness of America. That is why countries with low obesity rates had such low mortality rates, quite possibly lower than a normal flu season. I will say though, my buddy got covid last March was 25 and hikes mountains all over the world could barely breath for 3-4 days there. He sent me a video of him trying to breath and I still have it saved on my phone, it sounded like his lungs were full of water.
  4. I'm all in favor of everyone getting the vaccine that can, but the vaccine passport that NYS is talking about is a joke.
  5. Long range still looks warm for April. When was our last above normal April?
  6. -20 850s in early April, thats an impressive airmass.

  8. Yeah Anafront is tough to get high rates with marginal temps and you're going to need that at lower elevations.
  9. I believe Pfizer is like 90%+ effective vs the Brazilian variant. The South African is the one that concerns me.
  10. They're going into winter. Those numbers are going to be quite high for awhile.
  11. Woke up to graupel and a white ground, easy pass ready for spring.
  12. How have you and wife been feeling? Did you guys get a fever at all? My fever is gone and coughing up loads of green/yellow mucus the last few days. Enough to fill about a trash bag worth lol. Usually this happens at end of sinus infection, so hopefully back to normal in next few days.
  13. This doesn't get it done. Too weak of a low and not enough cold air.
  14. I don't see enough cold air for this time of year. Only accumulation will be higher elevations.
  15. These temp swings are killing me while having this sinus infection. I hate this time of year. 70 one day and 30 the next.
  16. Few pics from yesterday winds https://buffalonews.com/news/local/photos-fridays-wild-weather/collection_ec877b4e-8e55-11eb-a59c-ebdabda80475.html?utm_campaign=snd-autopilot&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook_&fbclid=IwAR09J6UkQdRKFQrRKwCZH2E94lMmToTmabvMzR0eRljz1qpvbl_IdOdGn64#3
  17. Whats strange to me as the virus is mutating with the ability to spread quicker and deadlier, that is pretty rare with viruses as they usually mutate with the ability to spread quicker but less deadly.
  18. What happens in a few months when there are variants of variants and the current vaccines do little to counteract the new virus? Constant booster shots? Will we have an endless fight with covid? Would the vaccines provide some sort of immunity to a variant that is many times over mutated from the original strain in which the vaccines were based on?
  19. Drones are not cheap either. That thing is probably toast. I have a Mavic drone and any water can cause permanent damage.
  20. Wind reports. 67 at West Seneca, 69 at Fredonia had to have a few 65-70 in Hamburg as well. Almost all of Hamburg lost power at some point today. Our power is back on here. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&product=PNS&issuedby=BUF
  21. Traffic signals out all over no power in derby, Hamburg, and parts of Boston.
  22. Crazy down here. Fire trucks, emts, and police with lights going down camp road all morning.
