  1. Are you able to get the vaccine yet in Canada?
  2. Yes, but I hope by the end of the year I no longer have to do it.
  3. Yeah, that's not good. Between this and the 15 million J and J vaccines, doesn't instill much confidence. German experts say under 60s should not get second AstraZeneca vaccine BERLIN (Reuters)... .......under 60-years old who have had a first shot of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine should receive a different product for their second dose. .......due to the rare but severe occurrence of thromboembolic side effects. It said it would make a separate recommendation later on younger people who had already received a first shot. “Until the appropriate data is available, STIKO recommends for people under 60 years old that instead of the second AstraZeneca dose, a dose of an mRNA-vaccine should be given 12 weeks after the first vaccine,” STIKO said. 4. My friend in Ontario posted a picture saying last beer before the lockdown. Is Ontario back into lockdown?
  5. I wear one all day at work and cannot stand it. It's a big deal to me, I hate them.
  6. It's already at 20%, there is no way its not at least 75% by September. I would be shocked if its not 100%. The game is outside. I can see inside events still being limited, but not anything outside. Antibodies last 6 months-1 year and booster shots are already being developed. Anyone who wants to get vaccinated would have had several attempts to do so the next few months. Immunity might last longer if its similar to the Sars vaccine which would be several years.
  7. It might allow you, I'm thinking it will be vaccine or negative test. I doubt they limit attendance. 70% of the country will be fully vaccinated by June.
  8. That is quite the high number for unintentional injuries. Are the majority of those traffic deaths?
  9. Hockey/Football are 1/2 for me followed by baseball/basketball close 3/4 out of the big 4. I actually am a pretty big tennis/volleyball player and would slot those ahead of baseball and basketball.
  10. Just booked a trip out west next month, doing a 10 day loop through Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, Moab, Monument valley, Bryce Canyon. Got a direct flight from Buffalo to Phoenix for $170 through Southwest, first 2 bags are free checked in. Cannot wait! Also bought a new camera got the Sony AIII. Excited to take some pictures of the milky way in the desert!
  11. I can't watch baseball on TV, unless its the playoffs. Too boring for me. In summer get out and go for a hike!
  12. The Vaccines protect against them over 90%...If everyone gets the shot I highly doubt it.
  13. Same. The NHL season has an asterisk next to it for me. So many covid issues and players sick, shortened season, different divisions. The cup isn't even real this year TBH. I think the NFL season goes on as normal though. I still expect masks for all of 2021, but really hope I'm wrong.
  14. He was playing the best hockey of his career before covid. I still blame the Sabres being so bad on so many players getting covid and all the injuries. We really need to sign Ullmark, hes fantastic.
  15. I mean unless you're more in shape than this guy is...? This guy is a workout warrior and got slammed by covid. I'll take the vaccine over getting sick like this. https://www.is.fi/nhl/art-2000007814144.html Ristolainen has been suffering from a bad case of COVID-19 - Says he has gone through every possible symptom. He has asked around the league and no one else has had it this bad. - His oxygen levels had dropped significantly and doing anything at all made him extremely tired -After a couple of days his symptoms got better only to come back in a different form, chest pains for an example. -When he had his chest pains, he felt like his heart is going to rip in two when walking up the stairs. Says couple of nights he felt like he wasn't sure if he's going to wake up. -"I got healthy papers from the doctors but physically I am in such a bad shape that i have a long road ahead of me until I'm fit to play." (Despite this he also says that he can maybe see himself coming back some time next week, but not certain) He sarcastically remarks that of course if he's going to get it, he'd get it when he's playing the best hockey of his career.
  16. The same can be said for driving. I don't get your point? The vaccine isn't going to cause anyone from getting anything other then a headache for a few days. In terms of risk/benefit analysis its a no brainer.
  17. Most have been young people https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/older-americans-largely-vaccinated-covid-19-cases-younger/story?id=76777363
  18. Are any vaccines 100% safe? Every time you drive your car out of the driveway you're at the greatest daily risk you'll get until you're elderly.

  20. Pretty huge news this morning. Pfizer 91% effectiveness vs south african variant. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/pfizer-says-trials-suggest-covid-vaccine-works-against-south-african-n1262710
