  1. Next week looks quite chilly. I think that ridge eventually moves over into the northeast though sometime in next 1-2 weeks.
  2. Looks like that middle American ridge moves east in beginning of August.
  3. Yeah I'm not sure I agree with the NFL on this. I got the shot, but still believe people should have a choice.
  4. Anyone see Beasley vs Hughes twitter fight about vaccines? I really hope social media doesn't divide our team this year.
  5. Had a couple bangers last night, died out a little bit as it moved through. The real question is how did someone measure .30 out over Lake Erie?
  6. I don't think Erie has fully frozen over since 2014-2015 winter. Even last year it was 80% frozen and Boston got 4 feet of snow in 1 day. With our winters warming so rapidly its less and less likely Erie freezes every year. Springville also has 1330' elevation which helps out a lot. I think they average 200"+
  7. I agree, lots of Bills players are pretty anti vax and vocal about it. Allen/Poyer. would suck to have this be the detriment of the year. Would be a pretty Bills thing to happen though.
  8. I haven't seen that one, watching this weekend. Greenland was good too and of course 2012 LOL Any weather movie genre related gets my attention, despite bad reviews.
  9. Should be an interesting NFL season as I doubt 50% of the Bills players got vaccine. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31863308/nfl-warning-teams-covid-19-outbreaks-unvaccinated-players-lead-forfeited-games
  10. This is pretty crazy... https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31863308/nfl-warning-teams-covid-19-outbreaks-unvaccinated-players-lead-forfeited-games
  11. I know it was fake, but I loved it. The beginning with the separating glaciers was great, I could definitely see that happening.
  12. So whats everyone think about this delta strain? More/less deadly, more/less contagious? Looks like Australia went into another super strict lockdown where the leader there said not to talk to your friends/family. Zero case strategy. (LOL) International travel is still too risky for me. Unless I got laid off/fired I wouldn't be able to risk a 2 week quarantine if I somehow got covid. I told the wife if that does happen I'm traveling the world for the next year.
  13. Did you watch day after tomorrow? Pretty much my favorite movie of all time. Lots of weather and science in it.
  14. The mountains really add another dynamic to the flooding. We are in a pretty good spot where we cannot get anything like this. That is unless Lake Erie or Ontario overfill their banks. If that happens we're all done for.
  15. That's crazy. Was this the general agreement among scientists at the time? Obviously CO2 in the atmosphere takes time to reflect into our global weather. While fossil fuel consumption was increasing in the 70s, the effects were not felt until decades later.
  16. I've been following weather my entire life and don't remember so many years in a row in which featured so many fires across the US. Every year it gets worse too.
  17. We need a day after tomorrow atmosphere cleansing.
  18. In regards to the climate change talk, did anyone see the floods in Germany? Killed over 150 people…that shouldn’t be Happening in 21st century. https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2021/07/europe-s-deadly-floods-leave-scientists-stunned
