Went back to look at the last 20 years from Dec-February in terms of temperature. You can see our snowfall is directly dependent on temperature (Makes sense). Out of the last 21 years we have had 4 below normal winters, 4 normal winters, and 13 above normal. We've had 6 straight above normal temp winters here in Upstate New York...

So much wasted potential next 2 weeks. We have a ridge out west and a trough in the east but still too early to get cold enough air for a snowstorm.

Long range looks worse and worse. Semi cold air but just nothing there, a waste of warm lake temps. Rather have it be warm and sunny.

Yeah I would have liked to see what she averaged from 2000-2010 when everyone was way above normal. I thought shes been there for awhile.

Thunder snow in Erie pa

That video was of a different house, but yes it was an insane amount of snow. It looked like out of a western USA ski resort.

Buf hit 66 yesterday and was at 65 at midnight. So back to back +18 high temp departures. To put that in perspective to get a -18 high departure the high would be 30 degrees, seems impossible in this climate. Long range looks up and down the next two weeks. I am starting to get worried about December with a terrible Pacific but still too far out at this point.
