  1. That's from the storm system+orographic lift over the hilly terrain south/southeast of them.
  2. City is still getting hit hard. I'm not sure if anyone measures at any of the stations downtown? 30" totals down there by now. Here is closest webcam to the water I think https://www.nittec.org/cameras/?cid=501
  3. You live in Clay where 50-60% of your seasonal average is lake effect? I figured most of upstate is similar with their averages.
  4. Had quite the event here off of Lake Erie today with 20-25" in the hardest hit areas since this morning. I got less than an inch at my house as this one hit the city. A few videos during my chase.
  5. I tried to document the variety of the chase with these videos. Hope you all enjoy, I had an incredible time!
  6. I think there is quite a few more maybe 3-4? Jan 2019 had 2? Didnt early Jan 2014 have one? Here is one. Dec 27, 2020 UPDATE: The latest total comes in at 18.4”!
  7. Yeah forgot as he doesn't post as much. His name assures his insight, best in the business.
  8. I'm not as good off Ontario as Erie. @wolfie09 is the expert off Ontario. NW flow LES is virtually impossible to predict and Rochester doesn't even have a radar. Good luck with that!
  9. I think that feature is what causes the band to shift south overnight IMG_3268.MP4
  10. This is probably my best forecasted les event. My text at 10 am yesterday morning with Devin.
  11. Yeah thats why there were so many cars downtown getting stuck, everyone was walking to arena as I was walking around.
  12. Waterfront is about to get into some really heavy stuff. I think right along the water gets heaviest totals which is very rare.
  13. Wait until you see the video I got of you driving into those drifts will be worth. Also was very nice meeting you! Got to meet up with 2 new posters here in the last few months!
