    I disagree. I love looking out my back doors and seeing snow falling on snow in my yard, even if it’s light. I’ll take this 100% of the time.

    Really can't buy one of these bands in DC metro, but good to hear people in our sub are cashing in. It would be a shame if Philly and NY had it all. Enjoy it northerners!

    Euro gives most of our sub .1 to .4 QPF between 18z and 00z tonight, of course the highest totals towards the north.

    Yeah, you're correct about waiting for sure. I just remember checking the para and it was consistently targeting the NY area while the Euro had us worried about suppression. BTW radar kinda looks promising right now. Really looks like a band is trying to form from DC north.

    The Euro struggled with this one big time. I think the GFS and GFS Para did better.

    The good part for those around Frederick and others seeing snow now is as the coastal ramps up that back edge isn’t gonna race across.

    Beautiful out, nice wet snow sticking to all the branches and everything, a little snizzle now to close out the night. Hopefully we get a little CCB or inverted trough or whatever is being offered over the next 2 days. Only 2-3 inches today but heck yes I’ll take it every time.

    Takoma Park (very close To dc). Was just outside with the kids its a snow/sleet mix but mostly snow when it’s heavy.
