I've seen these clippers blow up once they hit the atlantic in the GOM and we've had 6"+ on occasions locally, Not saying it will happen but these tend to ramp up some in the last 24hrs.
Let's start a thread

Not really.
North country definitely needs some snow. All trails in central NH basically closed, except local club trails at elevation

Boxing day was pretty rough for some of us...
This may be worse, might not even see a flake. And that was over 10 years ago, tech has changed a lot since then.

Lesson learned, don't make a 100% call until the crazy Uncle is on board.

She gone, time to face the sound of the music. If EU was trending NW we'd all be jumping in our Dunking suits, but instead everything trending SW leads to jumps off the Tobin

I think it will take most of the morning to dip below 32 even for you. Get ready for paste.
Even with things trending so South? Feel like the cold air will rush in much quicker than anticipated.

It's like he's only using half the models, hate to see it.

Curtis on WEEI just said Westminster is going to be the jackpot with 17.3", and Boston is getting nowhere near a foot.

Always a tough call on amounts when we're relying on the storm to make it's own cold air.

June was never a pure summer month since I’ve been alive (55 yrs old) here in SNE.
I dunno bro, maybe not every day of the month, but as a whole I'm pretty sure people in Wallingford and Newington would consider June a summer month.
-
With AGW, it seems the shoulder seasons are being extended, and summer and winter are getting shorter. June used to be a pure summer month, now it's just an extension of late April it seems.
-
Getting a little late in season for the coastal and southern areas anyway, rat damage has been done for those folks.

Maybe you may S.A.D. latency lol.
Actually, I was kind of liking the cloudy days. It was still air and cold enough underneath that the ground coverage persisted. For a shit winter ...we've actually managed to count up some "snow on the ground days" - it's just not been very deep.
Agreed. Clouds good for pack.

It's always 2 weeks away, start of February looked "favorable" 2 weeks ago. 90% of the time it looks good in the long range.

Getting the same here now
Yeah was doing it all day, now this morning had a light dusting and still pixie dust coming down, roads were snow covered, they had to salt. Even RT 2 had some snow on it until about RT 31.

More moisture in the atmosphere keeps the max temps down, but the night time mins also stay higher, which is what we've been seeing lately.
