Yeah its a race against the sfc front pressing down tomorrow...we may not win that race here. Maybe we can "score" a few hours of decent weather in the PM if we thread the needle. Friday is awful....typically don't bet against BDF/wedge climo.
I hate the hypothetical, but where do we thing the R/S will set up for Thu/Fri? My guess is maybe between Dendrite's latitude and 1P1?

Nice coating on the driveway, with -SN. Let's hope it continues, a plower would be nice.

who knows. going AN every year does not provide much value, though
So you're saying to go BN once in a while, just for posterity sake? That doesn't make much sense. If it's AN.... Then go AN.

When's the next time we're going to get one of those Manitoba Mauler redevelopers? Been over a decade it feels.

Hoping. I'm not a huge ice fisherman but it's nice to get out at least once a year.
I'm going out today, luckily winds don't seem to bad here

Wow, I'm surprised no one has mentioned staying in southern Quebec or the Eastern Townships for this event. I've checked and hotel availability seems a lot better there than NNE. Sherbrooke, Quebec is my pick for this event. But Magog and other towns also seemed to have good hotel availability without the inflated prices I'm seeing here. The one exception may be Niagara Falls, ON. Rates were high over there.

I did make it out on the ice, upper baker pond in Orford NH. Good day, even though lots of rain. Just enough ice, 6" total but top 3" was junk.

Bad lift, nuisance snow at Berkshire East. Need that warm air aloft to push north west for some of these models to verify this way.
Yeah the banding seems to be setting up South of where it was anticipated

This stuff is adding up quick pure fluff
Yeah it's some nice dendrites. If we get 6" that's nothing to scoff at. Peeps spoiled by 15" storms past 15 yrs.

It’s been a historic warm winter, almost no lake ice anywhere in the northeast and Great Lakes, don’t understand the spin by the same people
I just went this weekend in central NH, 6"
