  1. Gorgeous morning. Thermometer is reading right at 32.0 but I suspect it's a little warmer than that. Still an icy crust on the snow, but less than last night. Conifers have some bend to them, but nothing too extreme. Hopefully tonight doesn't add too much ice (if any). Also seen is the one of the collapsed tents that I have yet to do sh*t about.
  2. 31.7 degrees according to my thermometer. Hopefully that's accurate and I'm about to warm up enough for the freezing rain to cease. The ice crust has definitely passed 0.10". Trees seem to be doing ok for now (hard to tell in the dark), but if this keeps up, I know how quickly things could go downhill fast.
  3. The coal-fired power plants of Germany are spooling up, and juice is getting sent to the Deutscher Wetterdienst supercomputer as we speak. The 00z ICON is running, and I'm watching it like a hawk.
  4. Hey that's pretty rude. Prismshine Productions actually posts useful information, whereas I, clearly, do not.
  5. 30.6 degrees and light freezing rain. Nothing too crazy, but trees are starting to sag and forming on the snow cover,
  6. Nope, lol, genuinely live in Bradford, NH. Joined the forum this summer - always been a snow weenie though.
  7. Well of course I'm excited. The much vaunted and infallible ICON has blessed me with a weenie jackpot at my location with its latest run. No way this can go wrong for me now.
  8. I was pretty close as well, but figured I'd go ahead and get it out of the way. Figured clearing the snow will let the warm weather tomorrow completely de-ice the drive.
  9. I was struggling with traction big time on my gravel drive clearing snow today, and that's with a 5000lb 4 wheel drive tractor.
  10. Wandered around the yard and took some pics this afternoon. A snow covered Hemlock grove, a (very unfinished) shed project in the works that kind of shows the pack depth on the roof (the trim at the end of the porch rafters is 1x8 for reference, and the Warner river flowing about 2 feet lower than the ice canyon of its own making.
  11. As I had stated on Saturday, "I will choose to believe that the 3"+ zone denoted by the pink outline makes just a tiny bit further up to my house." - Which proved correct as I got 2.5"! Interpolation for the win! The switch to orange from pink did throw me off until I realized the pink one was an earlier forecast, lol.
  12. Updated snow chart. Added a column for total ground snow depth post storm. Missing a bunch of data because I wasn't taking it. Will do better from here on out. 32" on the season.
  13. Also, updated snow chart. I'll throw this in the other thread as well. I've added a total snow depth column but it's missing a bunch of data because, well, I never took it. Up to 32" now!
  14. Oh don't you worry. I've got more and more elaborate setups planned for you guys.
  15. Ended up with 2.5" total. Not too bad really. Snow depth on the ground is now averaging 12.7" Please see pic for proof. I made sure I wasn't stick slanting this time, at least in one dimension. You're just gonna have to trust me on the other ;).
  16. Oh, I meant that the pack won't remain over a foot.
  17. Nice wintry scene. Snow has picked up a little since taking this photo. Hoping to crack 2.5" total. Over a foot on the ground now too - course that ain't gonna last.
  18. 2.2" here and 26.3 degrees. Somehow managed to snag 1" of that before around 1:30am. Still snowing lightly.
