  1. Yeah its finally shedding the dry air, the radar actually looks better then the spotty precip that was forecasted. Also we still have the actual front to clear and its slowed enough to let everything creep north a bit.
  2. Ive been hinting at this possibility since yesterday. Also one of the prominent mets also said on twitter that this is no ordinary "low" it had potential to bomb along the coast. Not saying it is but you see the potential in real time. Not a model.
  3. If one was to look at the radar, she looks ready to tilt over. Someone along the central jersey coast might get licked gd by "heather". Also precip still building north atm, fighting the confluence.
  4. I think we all get a +1 bust..2 to 3 inches isnt really out of play neither. For as much the model keeps printing dry, lets see what the next hour or so brings. Virga or flakes??
  5. Radar is looking gd, the precip shield is moving ne into the area as we speak, somehow holding together with some localized heavier bands. Usually there is a gd band that develops on the northern fringe, trying to see where the movement stops and sits.
  6. Looking the radar, its coming bud ..this winter everything has trended north not south yet the models keep it south and drying up lol
  7. The possibility of this really blowing up as it hits the coast looks more and more promising. Also the precip shield is not as dry as these models have been hinting at,in fact its moving and building north per radar.
  8. None of them showed snow for us today and yet it snowed and is flurring once again. The radar also is looking pretty gd coming north.
  9. I wouldnt write this one off, also its kinda juicing up out the gom. Models showing dry outcomes might be already off. Also todays snow showers and flurries have made the column around the city pretty ripe for the incoming system, dry air might not be a big problem here.
  10. I actually think where it snows today,is where the snow sets up for tomm. Everything is been trending dryer and south with recent runs and im not buying it. Everything goes north within 12 hours of the event.
  11. The hrrr didnt show much precip for today but it is snowing, might be a few burst of snow for everyone later, once the cold front passes by with some waa ahead of it. the radar might start to bloom in a bit.
  12. Yeah the radar is actually looking better too. Some gd lift around the area also the disturbance still has to pass thru. Might be in for a surprize later.
  13. Its 24/3f here, dark grey skies. Not that it matters but we might see some flurries today. Either way its gonna snow this weekend.
  14. The way things are shaping up,we might actually be better off with it showing it south. Everything has been trending north as soon as it arrives here.
  15. The snow line should start collapsing back to the coast soon, all that in pa has to swing thru with the actual front and a coastal off shore. Nyc might get a gd burst out of that.
  16. Snow/ice/snow for us today. That backside snow is gonna be interesting to watch develop. Might be raining in boston, snowing in nyc later.
