10+ is prob gonna happen here quick,the good stuff is still coming this way so it snows for a while.

That ccb is what brings the goods later. Its been snowing moderately here in the bx since about 2 am. Cars trees and grass def white. Started as sleet and lgt rain for about an hour.. 33/31f with moderate snow currently.

38/26f here..pingers falling currently in the northern bronx. It feels cold too.

Current temps are falling along with the dp's. 39/26f here in the nw bronx. When the heavy precip arrives temps are gonna crash.

I agree. Isolated areas of higher amounts obviously. This is a intense banding event and no model is going to pinpoint placement of those bands.

The 6z gfs..the icon and the nogaps crushes nyc,along with king euro and nam. Building confidence in a nyc lucky strike. 6+ across the whole area.

We Finally got one.!!.. Every model in agreement pretty much. NYC gets lambasted with heavy wet snow.

We are in a great spot for this one. Northern bronx,southern westchester county folk.

I think it snows to beat the band. Also reguardless of the recent milder temps,it was pretty cold before that. Heavy precip and evap cooling take care of the rest when it comes to snow actually accumulating.

For what its worth..the nam and gfs clip the city good,the nogaps has it suppressed. Euro,the ukie and canadian go north. None of the models can guess the amount of suppression and colder air involved it seems. Nws seems to be going towards the globals though,but its still not set in stone.

38/35f here..my dp is ticking down slowly. The radar to our west looks good and the ccb is our curious feature later. I think we do get some snow outta this though,sticking is a whole diff issue obviously.

Moderate snow here,been light to moderate for a while now. Everything including some sidewalks covered. Radar still looks good to our west.

Im in the nw bronx and it's raking here.everything is getting covered..the radar looks good to our west too,more bands developing along i95.

Snowing hard ..temp has dropped to 26/23f and dropping..feels like true winter out now.

I never went with upton,i went by climatology. The trend has always been northwest inside 12 hrs . Reguardles of whatever models people clinged on, i was open to this coming a wee bit north and west. Heck even a dry slot has appeared.

The low is now over the ocean and getting itself going,also there is a kicker coming down from canada associated with the front itself. Fun times ahead.. she's a coming, that kicker low associated with the artic front near Pittsburgh is driving moisture back,amplifying everything towards the coast. Combined with a bombing coastal..the coast might get smoked for a bit.

That band is making a run at the myc metro and expanding nne.

Usually ill agree but on this one we might get a positive bust. Its snowing here in the bronx with a blooming radar across the metro. Radar looks really interesting for a few hours.
