    Late to this conversation but A+ in Charlotte with two storms and a foot of snow from one of them. B- in Ashe County - lots of dusting as and 1” events but the only really good storm was the snowstorm and we were on the wrong side of that.

    would be something to see a satellite pic that shows every inch of the carolinas in white. the only hole i see is Hilton Head and that looks like a dry slot, so it can happen!

    dumb question from a lurkre: when people (PackBacker) say "climatology says _____" is that simply saying that "the history of weather in this area says ____" or is it something else? related: is "climo" the same as "climatology"? Thanks.

    It’s crazy that Valdosta Georgia could get their second significant snowfall in the last 12 months while NC keeps getting rained out.

    if someone told me that I-85 was routed specifically to allow them to build it during the winter with minimal snow interference, i'd at least consider it

    If I were a TV meteorologist, getting spammed with comments about my forecasts nonstop, I'd go conservative on predictions too. And honestly, predicting low amounts would have paid big returns over the last three years.

    On the topic of IMBY posting, on mobile you can’t see someone’s location (or I have it set up incorrectly.) I just have to remember where everyone lives.
