    Last weekend our in town flag football program cancelled all games on Saturday afternoon, they play on Sunday morning. Yet, our soccer club got every game in. I completely agree on how soft society has gotten. I run our soccer club, when we have rain forecast I must get 5-8 emails / texts asking "it's wet out, are we really playing". Just go sign your kid up for Rubics cube classes.

    Skies are looking ready to start dumping. Just came off the disc golf course, enjoying a beer and getting excited for the storm.

    Exactly! 3 days ago it just looked like a Southern CT event. It's now looking great for a lot of us. I just got an Arctic Cat Z120 running for the kids, should be a fun Saturday.

    I am baffled at Avon closing schools, but it always fun watching the girls react to the news.

    Hoping for at least 3-6 for us here in Avon.

    We have 105 soccer teams coming to our complex for Sat/Sun, which is of course built in the lowest part of town next to a lake which is next to the Farmington. Two weeks ago we had 6 of 14 fields flooded.

    Debating if I leave the 1/2 that is on the driveway or scrape it before the rain

    I cleared the driveway just as it was transitioning to ice around 1am and measured 5. We are one of the higher points in town. I am used to leaving the house and getting into the center of town and it's always 25% less.
