We have 105 soccer teams coming to our complex for Sat/Sun, which is of course built in the lowest part of town next to a lake which is next to the Farmington. Two weeks ago we had 6 of 14 fields flooded.
I cleared the driveway just as it was transitioning to ice around 1am and measured 5. We are one of the higher points in town. I am used to leaving the house and getting into the center of town and it's always 25% less.
We just grabbed a quick coating here. Enough for me to hear 3 different two car accidents in the last 5 min. All the muppets trying to remember if they are supposed to turn into or out of the skid.
I agree. I don't need to put myself in danger. As well first responders/rescue folks. We have had two bad accidents here in my area in the last week. Two teens hiking on cliffs last Friday night at midnight turned into a SAR operation for hours.
Well said. Was nice to sled/ski with the kids for 3-4 straight days at night or weekends. Just have to find the silver lining. Looks like I will be back up to Norbrook Brewery instead for a few rounds of disc golf. Awesome piece of property in Colebrook.
