  1. Ugh. Looks like we’ll get crushed out here. We’ll take the rain but hopefully miss on the severe.
  2. Jimmy...Not every shortwave dives down from Santa’s house and produces a Day After Tomorrow like results.
  3. Yea. Follows the theme of a not so overly torchy summer forecasts that I’ve seen . Thesedays we’ll always be a couple C AN from higher mins and CC. The heat will come but I don’t know if we get that big time regionwide heat wave stretch of 95-100 this season for more than a day here or there. 90/60ish works though for summer activities though.
  4. Played Crumpin Fox. Wish i hadn’t. Had a stretch of 5 pars in a row on the back but other than that, it was a struggle. 47/43.
  5. Radar sure doesn’t look like it will miss though. We’ll see.
  6. It was a COC start so late month definitely brought them up but it’s no torch. Pretty much as expected, 2-3 AN. The dryness probably helped max out the hotter stretches last 7-10 too.
  7. Battery operated is the way to go. The only thing I have left is to get the Ryobi ride on mower and I’m gas free with my tools. Eventually, it’s on to cars.
  8. Yea Ive noticed that too. My boxer loves to chase wildlife in the woods around here and she typically returns with ticks on her but this season...nada. We use homemade tick shield but it’s never bulletproof during bad seasons. Certainly the dryness has been blessing in disguise.
  9. Am I reading the euro right? Looks like the cutoff is NBD initially but then a surface low rounds the base of the trough bringing a coastal by week’s end. 73/58, nice day on tap.
  10. The higher dews, when it does heat up, have capped the surface temps. Congrats VT on the 90s.
  11. I don’t think we got above 90, if we did it wasn’t by much or for too long) but dews were felt. I recall a lot of 88/70 type obs when I checked.
  12. 76/70 here. Dews are dropping just to our west.
  13. Front already into WNJ. Should clear WCT around lunchtime so today and tomorrow looking like a nice dew down. 71/70.
  14. SE Canada trying to flex its muscles a bit to start July too.
  15. Bone dry here as well for weeks, it seems. Can’t remember the last time it rained.
  16. Struggled at Unionvale on Saturday. Of course I was crushing it off the tee (usually my weakest part of my game) but struggled with my irons (usually my strongest part of my game). Putted ok. Just never got into the groove. Signed a 47/42 scorecard. Meh.
  17. The better courses generally set off a horn to stop play. Not positive but I don’t think all courses do which leaves the decision up to the players but sometimes it’s like, “last hole or last shot” mentality which is also based off whether or not it’s raining yet. But we knw lightning can strike without rain. Not everyone does.
  18. Hate to see that. Sometimes you don’t have anywhere to initially hide on the course but you would hope an early enough warning would be sent out.
