    Humidity chokes you so unless you’re doing a fun water activity, it’s pretty worthless. The vast majority agrees.

    Ha. I don’t scoff at riders though. Once in a while, I’ll ride. Just depends. Some courses you can only ride, comes with green fees so might as well take it. And Usually big heat I may ride but my friend who I played with always walks so it’s just good company to walk together. I’m probably 80/20 walker/rider.

    All thunder barely any rain, picking up now. What an awesome day of high dews that resulted in zero sun with clouds and mist like conditions. Now the storms. Who doesn’t enjoy this needs to check themselves...you can do so much with this type of weather.

    It’s not about being cheap...I’m always a walker. Good exercise and I enjoy the game more that way. I actually played better on the back so not like I got tired. I just felt sluggish most of the round.

    That only happens for EMA though so the shift east would begin Thursday...if this was winter. As is, I think this gets more tropically nuked as we get closer.

    Looks like the WAR wants to setup shop around mid month. The swampy gates may finally be opening for sustained morning clouds/drizzle that gives way to a couple hours of sun before monsoon rains arrive in the aftn/eve. Reminiscent of two summers ago where mold and shrooms grew on patios and rooftops. 2020 not letting up.

    45/42, struggled. Walked The Ranch (9.5miles) carrying my bag in the heat. Felt sluggish the entire round. Back to the drawing board.

    Been there. I still melt on holes but no longer smash or throw clubs. The game is a head fuk though. The only major sport you can blame no one but yourself (ok sometimes the course). Not the refs, teammates, coaches, etc...which is why I love it. All about the self.

    I hit a couple at the range today that were deep. The back mesh fence is 275 and I hit the mesh on the fly. But I can very rarely do it on the course so the club never makes it out of the trunk.

    Well done, that’s awesome. I think Steve is around there too. We are only at 8 this Sept but have known each other for 20. I think I was the fall back option during those 12.
