  1. We did not play Bethpage Black. We’ll do it at some point later this summer. My friends played it twice, says it’s worth every penny to experience it. That’s awesome you get to play with your kid. A perfect sport/game to do so. Who’s better? I hope I can share it with one of mine when they get older.
  2. I know nailing forecasts for everyone is not easy and it’s generally better to keep the public more aware and safer, especially how dumb people are, but they should have adjusted their forecasts last night or at least this morning when it was pretty clear this was NBD for anyone NE of NYC.
  3. Yea. It was something track worthy at least. The track over NJ and W of NYC will pan out. I thought this was a weak/bad forecast by the NHC and NWS offices. The flood and TS warnings NE of NYC was uncalled for but not many will mind or notice.
  4. Taking on the left side of the cone so far and WV has it and the OH valley low looking phasey. My guess is over CNJ to NNJ (west of NYC) and into Upsate west of the Hudson. Score one for the GFS.
  5. Match radar with any of the big models and it didn’t have the heaviest stuff that far into Lancaster county PA. It would probably puke itself over EPA, NJ, and maybe NYC but anywhere NE of there will get mostly scattered convection. #floodfail
  6. Not talking about the ‘center’ but the extent of western and thus the heaviest precip...is further west.
  7. It looks west of guidance atm. Haven’t seen anything show the bands make it that far west of philly.
  8. Golf is more exciting than rain but anything is more exciting than dews.
  9. Humidity chokes you so unless you’re doing a fun water activity, it’s pretty worthless. The vast majority agrees.
  10. Pretty bad job by the euro inside d3 imo and it feels like that’s becoming a little bit of a broken record. And somewhere in the north pole WinterWolf is sledding his little heart away yelling, “I told you guys.”
  11. 1-2” for most over like 8-12 hours isn’t exactly flood worthy.
  12. 1-2” of rain with a little wind. Fun for July I suppose.
  13. Ha. I don’t scoff at riders though. Once in a while, I’ll ride. Just depends. Some courses you can only ride, comes with green fees so might as well take it. And Usually big heat I may ride but my friend who I played with always walks so it’s just good company to walk together. I’m probably 80/20 walker/rider.
  14. All thunder barely any rain, picking up now. What an awesome day of high dews that resulted in zero sun with clouds and mist like conditions. Now the storms. Who doesn’t enjoy this needs to check themselves...you can do so much with this type of weather.
  15. It’s not about being cheap...I’m always a walker. Good exercise and I enjoy the game more that way. I actually played better on the back so not like I got tired. I just felt sluggish most of the round.
  16. Still can’t touch the flag stick. No feely.
  17. That only happens for EMA though so the shift east would begin Thursday...if this was winter. As is, I think this gets more tropically nuked as we get closer.
  18. Yup, modern day climo...living in extremes.
