  1. Of course. We are far out but they could have a better AFD like BOX. Some weenies are paying attention reading those.
  2. 39 here with r/s. I don’t pay much attention to their forecasts anyway. I’ll use it as a sounding board after I gather info from here.
  3. Ray doesn’t know me that well. I don’t observe...I jump right in. And it’s only because it rarely happens so when the opportunity presents itself...my clothes are off before I’ve been introduced.
  4. Upton at it again lol. Great news for snow lovers.
  5. Yea, we hope this stretch ‘isn’t it’ and more will come. We’ll be happy if you’re JF call is wrong.
  6. The W vs E civil war would be put on hold at least. We’d break bread and drink whisky for the day.
  7. A nice 6-10” event for the region with 12” jacks in WSNE would be ideal for everyone. Just need this to hold for 6 days...pretty easy task.
  8. The majority of 0z gefs members were nw of the mean anyway and nw of the op. 6z gefs looking sharper already.
  9. Looking good at D6. What more can SNE ask for.
  10. I’ll take a 6-10”er this go around though.
  11. I’d rather a stout high and fear the shove vs a retreating high and congrats Montreal.
  12. Good run. I like the early transfer and tucky look initially.
  13. Can you get on the mic in your squad car and announce that? A weenie pbp by a cop on the mic to random people walking around would be pretty funny.
  14. Even if it had a 3ft bomb, just pass. I’m not even sure when it became a plausible model. The less models we look at, the better imo. Information, especially trash, over-load.
  15. It’s helped me for sure. I look from the top down now.
  16. The WCB was intense. Picked up like 10” in 3 hours that morning. Ended up with 14”. Kind of a letdown though how in and out it was. Then the sleet and mood flakes for the rest of the day. Most forecasts had Danbury for 18-24” so when you ‘fall short’ with 14” it never sits well. NWCT had some 20” amounts and then west into NY is where it really piled up with 30-40”.
  17. Iirc the ‘shift’ had more to do with mid level tracks going across SNE but models still putting out 18+ south of it so many forecasters were hesitant to put up big amounts but still did. But then the rule of ‘never go higher than 12” if mid levels are north of you’ was discussed, even if models are printing more.
  18. If it comes through we may just crown you.
