I live in an ocean now, me and my big mouth lol

My flood senses are tingling for folks over on the PA side N&W of Philly and regions already hit hard the last month. Radar has that look of training nightmares.

Kinda serious question here - is it ever going to rain and storm again or is this an infinity drought. Guidance output was 2-2.5" this weekend and received about .15"

Excellent beach weekend here, cloudy with showers eh lol

Have to water the garden tomorrow

Hearing some rumbles, but the heavy stuff looks to pass to my south. Can't believe Redsky keeps missing out. There are parts of my yard I haven't mowed since mid July. Everytime it looks to dry out, I get a heavy down pour and the swamp returns!
I can't either. Just look at the little blue I95 sign in east Jersey that's where i am, a Borge strong force field was placed here after the May deluge.

To all the fans of the weeklies i say this, give it up. They had a near normal August
-
Very light drips and 77F. At least a reprieve of the Hades like heat. We are only in the running for the hottest August on record no biggie or anything....
-
NAM is .25" imby rest of the day thru tomorrow, and cutback on totals for most of the region. It's a tsunami of a bust developing.

Not a drop of rain and the sun has been out here in south Monmouth
-
Not a drop, sun is out and so far a nice beach day lol
-
91F already

NAM has dried out considerably on the weekend rain outside of Philly proper. Big surprise eh.
-
Another forecast of days and days of showers and clouds after tomorrow. How dry does it stay?

87.6F - no shower from the "front"

I hear first week of August was third hottest on record for NYC. Funny stat because i remember no guidance entering the month that predicted that, or it would have been hyped.
Plus I bet with dewpoints and real feel factored in it was #1

Last nights storms lasted a full 90 minutes and in terms of duration of lighting , it ranks as one of the best for me here in Monmouth County.
There were tons of road crews out this morning putting the place back together. It wasn`t the most extreme/vicious in terms of close strikes but from a longevity aspect , it was more than anyone could ask for.
Amazing, zero of anything here in southern Monmouth

92.7F
So that was a cold front lol

Blowing the doors off the forecast highs again 91.2F
