Guidance is hinting at an end to this big heat for several days possibly longer in another week, that would be sweet.

Slammed again it came down in buckets. Near 5" rain for June as the rest of the region dust bowls.

Lol. Surprised you didn't get a Greenskeeper weenie tag for that. I tend to notice it more in the winter, not just the change in sunrise and sunset times, but the changes in the light from the sun angle.
Give it time, it's groundhog season.

Yo RedSky, pretty intense "RedSky" this morning heading to Wawa. North Wales train station super dead...welcome to 2020.
62F / DP 58, not bad.
Mega redsky days coming courtesy of the Sahara dust cloud.
In other news I be doing a summer without A/C for the first time since about 1982 - gone be brutal.

Torrential rain. From drought to flooding in 48 hours. Only 1% of Bucks county is now a swamp, the rest is still drought lol.

You can't ask for a better several days to start this week. Next weekend will cook/suck but hell we'll be 2/3 through June....Fall is right around the corner!
I said the same thing in late June last year after we dodged big heat and the 10 day looked benign. We had a top 10 hot July and a hot August. Unfortunately a pattern shift favoring heat is growing. Enjoy the chamber of commerce weather while it lasts.

Pretty uneventful here. Downpour, a few distant rumbles of thunder, and 2 gusts. No damage, no hail, no naders.
Same-sky got dark and ominous though first in years for me

Couple rumbles and around .30" shower. Models did a good job seeing the line fizzle this evening.
