Weather World likes a blockbuster February due to the Indian Ocean dipole. Kind of Spooky the signals coming together for this winter.

50/50 Middle two days mostly sunny. 

First frost is here the jacuzzi is frosted over. Thermometer says 36F. 

Day 8 of the ECM looks like it could be snow here but I lost my map source.

Soared past the forecast high to 68F, 50/50 clouds and sun now 

Long range ECM and CFS  have us returning to a ridge after early November. Two and a half week cool blip then an indian summer to remember?

Near overcast skies this last hour what happened to the afternoon sunny forecast? Satellite loop reveals a massive cloud deck for a large swath of the country. Would be nice to see the sun someday to dry out the mold colonies.

Afternoon forecast Sunny - Day one a fail 

Skies gradually went partly cloudy by around 1pm and now qualify mostly cloudy with a thin white overcast. Current satellite reveals a thick white overcast overspreading near half the country.

Mets explanation? Same thing has been happening for months.
