Not only is this performing like a dead ratter winter, it's the worst for digital fantasy snow ever. I have 16" of digital snow on the electronic yard stick a normal winter is 36" by this point.

As things stand at this moment January is promising one thing - a step down to chillier temperatures(umm duh it is January after all) and little or no snow.

The 408hr GFS was going to show a blizzard. Weenie rule book page 67 - If you have to project a digital fantasy blizzard post 384hr GFS run your in serious bad shape this winter better to fall into a coma for 90 days

Thing about that data is my old location was awful for measuring snow. It was a fish bowl circled by tall ash, tree of heaven and pine. Any storm with wind resulted in trees eating the snow. I measured 27-28" in a nearby field after the storm, which I'm sure if done with a snowboard would have been 30". Felt cheated saying I received 25".

Monday afternoon is projecting to be a clone of this mornings spare change event, exciting times.. * although the timing would be such that the frosted snow scape would be ideally timed with the holiday lights rather then the useless over night garbage nobody can see sleeping. It's all about the silver linings eh.
