Last February was near historic levels, and most of the area had snow on the ground for 7 to 10 days until Xmas Eve or close to it. Karma tank is empty.

There is a wild card scenario here however. Nobody and I mean NOBODY saw February of 2021 coming. The climate has changed radically so old analogs hold less weight.

Weather World bombed on their previous 30 day outlook with a cold first half of December. They like seasonable temps through January 19. The big problem is La Nina has neutered the southern jet stream. January is looking average with continued below normal precipitation. Nickle and dime snows a coming.

Swapping Xmas with groundhog day makes perfect sense. The groundhog script can read will there be six weeks of winter.
