  1. ECM has more snow than the NAM this might mean the end of all things
  2. Last time the weather got this nice was Christmas
  3. I think the north stream vort is going to pick the ocean low up sling it to Boston again and Cape May up the coast does well. Seasonal trend ftw.
  4. I'm in the spring can't get here soon enough crowd this year, but every day the GFS pushes back the pattern change and keeps the PV going strong closer to March.
  5. Hoochie mama comes knocking unexpected lol I hate this winter
  6. Canadian is slightly different takes a track over the Walt Whitman
  7. Atmospheric clone of January 30th minus the north vorts tractor beam that aims it at Boston. Still plenty of time for them to get that beam turned on for 25 more inches..
  8. An unusual elongated and strong polar vortex winter, is was cold because the elongation axis pointed in this direction. https://www.severe-weather.eu/global-weather/strong-polar-vortex-unusual-weather-united-states-cold-forecast-pattern-fa/?fbclid=IwAR0oP-cuSyYz9wRLePS7_FOSefiTgn_UF_ghg0J4PPr4DpGjJlN2zLIGaYQ Trend should be milder times to close out February and the month of March.
  9. Another winter lacking clippers despite a strong arctic PV vortex delivering cold they tracked north.
  10. No candy coating it our winter sucks. Need 19" to normal or another late February through early April early spring performance like 2018 to salvage numbers, or end with 1976 cold futility. It was oh so close to being a good one post December but the eastern North America trough was slightly too far east thus the big AC to NYC coastal score zone.
  11. Check it out Ralph so this "juggernaut" 1006mb low is following the same path as last weeks 970mb screaming mimi and projecting close to the same amount of snow for Allentown
  12. Models been showing jack squat through day 10 this is hilarious
  13. Waiting around for this coming warmup and see the NAM has .5-2" overnight what the heck
  14. Still more backwash approaching from the southwest could prove adventuresome out there this evening Freezing drizzle and 30F
  15. 30F The rose bush is iced up and some plastic surfaces
  16. The twenty foot wide drift outside is still holding 9" deep lol
  17. For snow futility fans: Going through the records of Allentown a winter that finishes with <20" snow and has Jan-Feb combined average below normal in temperature is quite rare the last one I found was 1976. A couple got saved by March snow one was 1993.
  18. Don S thinks a milder second half of February time is running out.
  19. The Sunday storm needs a 1000 mile correction. Really cold garbage first week of February. Come on greasy grimy gopher guts at sunrise.
