    The change comes after the cutter next week. There is alot of blocking on every model. Phase 3 is good but 4 isn't so we shall see where we go.

    Yes I think 1-3 is the best bet for NYC atm with most of the accumulations on colder surfaces unless surface temps get colder.

    Eps and Euro have been too amped recently ever since the upgrade.

    It's January , not March with the sun angle . Gfs wouldn't work here anyway but Euro would for a few inches.

    I think 6+ isn't going to happen in NYC but a few inches might not be out of the question if we get a strong vort .

    Because not every storm is similiar . We have a a good cold air source up north providing enough cold air to our region. Can it change? Sure but things are looking up right now.

    Snow depth charts haven't been accurate in the past. You can't deny the fact that the models are looking more colder and wintry even for the coast.

    What a block on the long range gfs after the cutter. That's when true winter should begin. It's on all the models.
