  1. Low of 61 here in the Oyster Point precinct of West Hempfield Township. I wonder if MDT could sneak in a 90 Thursday or Friday. Sorry to hear about your mishap Voyager, hope you heal up soon mate.
  2. Back to back 59s over here in Hempfield. Great morning to catch a train.
  3. Low of 59 and a stunning week ahead. I mowed yesterday as well, in addition to about half my neighborhood ha. A good chunk of my yard is still dormant and I don't think it will be coming back this year, but the parts that weren't definitely needed it. Had a nice campfire going last night. National high of 119 at Death Valley and low of 33 near Davis, WV. Carry on.
  4. Low of 62. I expect the mowers to be going nuts in my neighborhood today.
  5. 1.38” is what I’m seeing. 2.63” for CXY. Might be 1.47” for MDT. Haven’t looked deep yet. But that’s the ballpark.
  6. Low of 65 with 1.42” of rainfall. Gorgeous weather on tap for the foreseeable future. That sound you hear is the collective roar of mowers everywhere testing their engines after a long hiatus.
  7. Looks like about an inch and a half over here. Official measurement in the morning. Kind of played out as expected over this way. Nothing crazy. Sun making random appearances.
  8. I have less than a tenth of an inch on the day as the heavier stuff is on the approach. Seems like the next hour or two is the show for us.
  9. Tropical always outperforms the radar it seems. I still think we’ll get close to 2” when all is said and done, just don’t foresee any real flooding issues.
  10. Low of 73 with a meager .18” of rainfall. Nothing on the horizon either. Got to hand it to the Mesos on this one. We should get a couple downpours when it pulls through later this morning or this afternoon but no real flooding concerns over this way. Happy for all the big winners to my west, assuming no wet basements ha.
  11. Just goes to show how hard this stuff is to predict and how there are always surprises. I don’t think anyone out that way was expecting anything that vigorous this early.
  12. I don’t believe it’s being made public, which absolutely stinks if true.
  13. It’s out and it’s east. Biggest totals over eastern Cumberland, Dauphin, and Lebanon.
  14. Multiple rounds pointed right at Bubbler. He may be over an inch before Friday even hits. #Firehose
  15. Yes I've been feeling this for days, just didn't want to dampen the mood ha. Also, it may only pertain to us in the far eastern sections of the valley. Been of the mind that it could just be an on/off showery kind of day with some embedded spinners and brief downpours and then a squall line that sweeps through later in the day, but I don't think we get in on much of the main slug of moisture associated with the heart of the low. I'm fine with however things play out. Let the chips fall where they may!
  16. In terms of max totals, if I could be anywhere for this storm, put me on top of Seven Mountains outside of State College.
  17. Low of 66 with .08" of rainfall. More importantly, all three American wrestlers who are competing in Paris today have advanced to the semifinals. Let's goooooo!!!
  18. Whoa whoa whoa Training, now you've gone too far. Let's reign it in a bit.
  19. They pissed me off when they stopped serving the UTZ medley chips with their sandwiches.
  20. At range, the HRRR and 3k NAM are both in the "keep the bulk of the precip west" camp.......
  21. I remember it well. I left work early that day and when I got off the train in Mount Joy I went to Isaac's for lunch. I recall watching the deluge hit as I finished up my "insert funny bird name" sandwich and thinking that I needed to get the heck out of dodge. I just made it home before things got crazy, with Main Street flooding and all the car rescues and whatnot. I got "only" 4.45" from that event, but that August is my wettest month on record, with a gaudy 17.79". I had three separate events where I got at least 4" during that month -- madness!
  22. I randomly checked a WU station near Willow Street and it just so happened to show exactly 5.91" for yesterday. I found you Superstorm! In any case, that station got an inch of rainfall in 10 minutes at one point -- extremely impressive. My heaviest period yesterday took 20 minutes to get an inch.
  23. The radar is insane right now. Just line after line. Going to be some big totals come morning.
